This doughnut shop has been around for many years and it's still one of the best doughnut shops around. This is the Krispy Creme and Dunkin Doughnut of Sowega. The way they cook the doughnuts and they have a crispy soft feeling when you bite into it. It's like a marshmallow doughnut when you bite it. The flaky icing on the regular doughnut and the doughnut holes are like quick silver. We overlly love the atmosphere and the people thanks for serving us with politeness...
This place is a gem. While there was not a big selection in the display case, I think they will make you whatever you want when you want it. The donuts were warm, fresh and delicious. We got 2 glazed, 2 chocolate iced, 1 cream filled and 1 cinnamon twist.. Definitely not a big box donut shop. You can tell it is all homemade goodness.
The Donut Shop in Bainbridge GA isn't fancy, but it will give Krispy Kreme a run for it's money. Back in 2021 into 2022, my wife and I would go through the drive through to get a dozen glazed Donuts, as most of the time they were still warm, and delicious.
