We stayed in the campground this past weekend for the 4th of July. It was great. We ate in the restaurant( twice) and got dinner to go one night, it was all terrific! The host, Mr McDaniel went out of his way to ask several times, if everything was okay. They even made homemade ice cream

Can't wait for the Sunday Buffet to open up again. I was highly disappointed with their Sunday Fish Special for $10.99. The two pieces of fish were very small and won't order that ever again.. I'll stick with the burgers, they are good, especially the Swiss Mushroom Berger...

It's an awesome place you can stay there for the weekend in a cabin or you can bring a tent or your very own camper. It's also great for fishing and spending time with family members or also have a nice and tasty meal at Macs point restaurant. I hope this helped

Cabins are great,wonderful time would definitely recommend for fun family vacation.Owners are wonderful and very accommodating. RESTAURANT to open soon which will make it even better!Perfect place for rest and recreation!

Hurricane Michael ripped through this resort in October and tore up everything! The new owners have named it Mac's Point Lodge and Marina and have been working very hard to repair and replace everything. They are remodeling the restaurant and it will be amazing as will the rest of the place when they are through, but it will take a while. This place is an amazing resort if you want to get away from it all. It's safe for children to fish and play and learn about the outdoors or build a campfire and tell ghost stories. There is no loud music or fast driving cars here, it's truly a family place!

We were in the area today, so we drove around the park looking at rv sites. There appears to be a new or rejuvenated section which is under construction. Looks like it will be nice. However, the rest of the facilities look like they have had no maintenance or upkeep for decades. Very bad and depressing.
