Susie and Sam's Steakhouse

Our first time at Susie and Sam's to kick off the Birthday Weekend! This place is amazing. Food and Service are the best I've ever seen/had. We wound up eating at the Bar because we didn't have a reservation. Maddie was fantastic and makes a mean cocktail. Both Sam and Susie were excellent hosts! It brought back fond memories of Marie Livingston's from 30 years ago! We will MOST DEFINITELY be back! Lucky to have them in Bainbridge.

The steaks and the salmon were absolutely delicious! We went on a Tuesday night so they weren’t too busy even though there were several large parties. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are near Bainbridge. They are definitely one of the few who truly have perfected steaks.

What a treat! Who knew there was such a good steakhouse in Bainbridge (of all places), Georgia? Everything was cooked to perfection, the salad was fresh and flavorful, the steak -- oh.my.gosh. - the steak was unbelievably delicious. And that bread pudding? Holy cow. And the Birthday songs? How fun is that! Highly recommend!!! And, yes, yes, I know it's pricey and not something you would do every day, but a once in awhile treat like this is just what you deserve. Not kidding.

cocktails, service and atmosphere were all 5-star. We were in Bainbridge for the night and could not have had a better experience. We only wish they were located in Atlanta where we live.

What lovely find in our travels. The steaks were prefect. We loved the atmosphere and so glad the owners revived such a lovely building. We appreciated that the servers and owners were very attentive as well. It was an outstanding dining experience and we are sure to return, as well as recommend Susie & Sam's to our friends.

This place is simply awesome. It is a great place to go if you are looking for a special place to eat a nice steak in a beautiful place with superb service. It is great to feel unrushed in enjoying a great meal with good friends. Desserts are awesome too.

After a long and demanding week, my wife and I decided to treat ourselves to a well-deserved dinner—and we had been hearing rave reviews about Susie and Sam’s in Bainbridge, so we made the 45-minute drive from Tallahassee to see what all the buzz was about.

From the moment we walked in, we were met with warm, welcoming smiles. The staff’s hospitality set the tone for the evening, and it only got better from there. The atmosphere was perfect for a date night.

The food was absolutely delicious. Every bite lived up to the hype. The steak was cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and full of flavor. You can tell they take pride in what comes out of the kitchen.

But what truly stood out was our waitress, Miss Jada. She was outstanding—attentive, kind, and effortlessly professional. Her service elevated our entire experience, and we genuinely felt taken care of throughout the evening.

The drive was more than worth it, and we’ll definitely be back. If you're looking for a top-notch steakhouse with exceptional service, Susie and Sam’s is the place.

We had the best dining experience at Susie and Sam’s steakhouse last night!
The restaurant is located in a historic building, and it has a very nice ambience. It is a very popular restaurant and though lively/busy,, we were seated promptly and service was excellent. Our food was top-notch from the homemade croutons in our salad, to the delicious dinner rolls and homemade honey butter, to the perfectly cooked steaks. I also ordered a Moscow mule, and it was very good. We ordered our desserts to go, the white chocolate bread pudding, and the Key-lime pie. They were both fantastic. Our waitress was so kind and informative, and even the owners came by to say hello. It was such a pleasurable experience and we will be back!

Best meal!! Great service by Jaeda! Try the French onion soup (best I’ve ever had) and sweet potato for my vegetarian friends. My husband had the ribeye cooked to perfection! Try the key lime pie! It was amazing🤩🤩

Kelly was our server and she was fantastic! The salad, yeast rolls, baked taters and steaks were all scrumptious 😋 We couldn't eat dessert, too full. However, we did bring home 1/2 dozen yummy yeast rolls.
We will return!!

Food was delicious. We enjoyed crisp salads with house made dressings, hot homemade rolls, a thick, juicy pork chop, and perfectly grilled jumbo shrimp. The carmelized roasted vegetable skewers were delightful sides. Smooth coffee and house made desserts completed the meal on an high note—all served by well trained wait staff in a lovely, spotlessly clean historic building.

This is literally the best restaurant I've ever been to. When I walked in for the first time I fell in love with the ambiance. It's classy and inviting. The owner thought through every detail. It seems really fancy, but the people who work there are so kind and welcoming. The food is absolutely amazing and the portions are really large. It is the complete package and I would rate each details at ten stars if I could. It has quickly become our favorite place for all special occasions.

Food was great…for starters try the fried mushrooms. The mile high key lime pie was enough for two and the birthday song was one of a kind. It was a beautiful night!
