Be sure to take a flashlight so you can read the menu. Menu is black with dull gold script. I suppose that is an attempt to be elegant. Steaks were very tender but then they should have been with all the salt they were obviously soaked in. Cheese on the French onion soup was pure rubber.
Soup was really good once I pushed all the tuff thick cheese to the side. The baked potato was delicious!
To top it off the coconut cream pie was still frozen when brought to the table....
Susie and Sam's Steakhouse in Bainbridge, Georgia is an excellent place to dine. It's located in the old library at 200. W. Broughton St. The atmosphere was great and the food was excellent. Susie and Sam both stopped by our table to check if we needed anything. Our server (Jada) was excellent also. We celebrated a birthday here - a party of 9 and it was the perfect spot. The food was amazing. The atmosphere was perfect. The best part was our server, Jaeda. She made the whole experience!! Mrs. Susie came over and talked with us and made us feel right at home. We drove from Dothan to try it and I can say with 100% certainty we will be back!
