Cute place with pleasant atmosphere and very friendly server. That said, I asked for the wings and she said they were out. I then asked for the soup of the day and she said they were out of that too. So I then asked for the loaded baked potato with extra on all the toppings, especially the chives, and she said no problem. Notice the new owners are not listed. Could it be because it’s an entirely different restaurant and not the glory it used to be? Understand the food just isn’t up to the old standard. Hear too much from others on yet another restaurant starting great, selling, and going to crap.
The restaurant was not crowded and we were seated right away. The soda machine was out of order and all the menu items were not available. The food however was very good and the portions were plenty. You have to get the skillet cornbread, it was delicious.
