My wife & I were in town to visit the nearby post office & realized we were hungry. Decided to give this place a try & are super happy we did! I had the breakfast croissant & some type of really tasty chai. The combo was sublime, the service was exceptional & the atmosphere was comfortable / kinda-quirky.

Exceptional customer service and friendliness! The potato soup and Rueben were so fresh. We talked to the 2 baristas - Cali and Jose as well as the owner. They all had a wealth of interesting info about the surrounding area. Oh, and the coffee and espresso were exceptional.

I visited The Bean today at lunch time. I ordered a veggie pannini sandwich called The Juju. I asked for no mayo, provolone cheese and add spicy brown mustard. Got the sandwich with mayo and no mustard. Took it back to have it remade, which they did and was good. Disappointed that their version of veggie sandwich was only lettuce, greek peppers and tomatoes. Could have had roasted bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, and more but nope. Also disappointed that they let folks occupy half the seating to work with their laptops keeping seats unavailable for folks who may want to dine in.
