This was HORRIBLE .35$ steak served on top of my fries..the fries got soggy and cold when they came to table. 1/4 of my steak was non chewable grissel. 14$ for a over cooked dried chicken club sandwich. Why is this called a tavern if no alcohol is served? The food was plain at best honestly. This review is current the others are old before the menu changed
Amazing prime rib and great staff!! I loved the atmosphere and how everyone was like family. We all laughed and danced the night away! 2023 was a party !!
When I tell you every bite was AMAZING!!IT?WAS?AMAZING?!!!!From the spinach dip, salads, drinks and main courses. Wait staff is incredibly nice and attentive. Solid 12 out of 10. Will definitely eat here again.
Deraney's is fabulous! It is one of the best restaurants we've ever been to! My husband and I have traveled to some of the finest resorts in the Caribbean and the food and drinks are comparable to any all-inclusive resort we have experienced. Especially. the Lobster Bisque and Margaritas! Our server, Kennedy went out of her way to make sure our dining experience enjoyable and was quick to check on us! My wife has a gluten allergy and Kennedy and the chef were very knowledgeable and accommodating. So, yes, you need to try Deraney's Two City Tavern!
On 10/1/22 I came here on a date. Everything was going well until the server accidentally threw tea all over me and my new outfit. Boots clothes and purse. Tea went all over the floor and under my chair. She said she was sorry and left. I got up to go to the ladies room in the back. She came out with a wet towel and tried to give it to me to clean myself up with. I said I was waiting for the ladies room. Then she went right out and cleaned the floor with the same towel she had offered to me to clean myself with. She never came back to our table. Someone else did. She said sorry about what happened. I said she got tea all over me and my new outfit boots and purse. She said oh nice outfit. I was very embarrassed and it actually made both of us feel very uncomfortable. They did take our drinks off of our bill. But that actually wasn't much of an apology. It still cost me over $50. And it completely ruined the atmosphere for the evening. We had to move tables because the whole floor was covered in tea and they did not clean up underneath my chair and expected me to sit in sticky tea. Unfortunately my experience there was not very good. They're minimal gesture of taking the tea off the bill was quite insulting. Under the circumstances of how they completely messed up the evening and covered my new outfit with tea.
My wife and I stopped in for some Sunday brunch and were presently surprised with how charming and comfortable the atmosphere was when we entered. The food was great. Eggs sunny side up are hard to get right. Here I was given a beautiful sunny side up egg on top of well crusted chicken biscuit and amazing home fries. This is definitely a restaurant that will be add to the weekly rotation.
This place was great. Loved the decor, the atmosphere, the waiter was amazing, and the food was delicious. We had a pizza for 2 that came with a side salad. The waiter keep our tea filled and always came to check on us and make sure everything g was good. We will definitely be back.
Whenever I visit my family in Barnesville, Deraney’s is a must. I absolutely love their food. This visit, we decided to try their Sunday brunch. OMG it was fabulous. The presentation was beautiful, the flavors delicious. The chef is a master at creating his dishes. Also, I was impressed to see the owner busting his butt alongside his head chef. Truly a team effort.Pictures: Loaded Chicken Biscuits, Shrimp & Grits, Breakfast Flatbread
First time to Deraney's. Had lunch with some vendor reps. Not a cauliflower fan but the cauliflower wings were amazing! Also tried the spinach dip appetizer and it was very good as well. Everyone was very pleased with their lunch selections and our waiter made some excellent suggestions on what to have. Staff was prompt and friendly and provided just the right amount of attention to our table. Will be back again.

Stopped by Deraney's to check out their new Sunday brunch menu prepared by Chef Bill. My husband had the eggs benny with crab and I tried the banana stuffed french toast, we also had an order of the biscuits and gravy which we split. Everything was ABSOLUTELY delicious!! This is now our new favorite Sunday meeting place after church!
Their service and food are excellent. When you are at Deraney's you feel like family!
Excellent food and service! Love Deraney's Two City Tavern. They make us feel welcome and the food is incredible.
Saw this quaint restaurant while passing through town on a Saturday evening. Live music was playing and we were quickly seated and order taken. The staff was fast, kind and courteous. We didn’t wait for a thing. I had the chicken Parmesan and my husband had the large Greek salad. Both were perfect. The tables were nicely spaced and the overall ambiance was relaxed. We were in and out in an hour and that was just what we wanted. We will definitely stop again!
We had the lamb chops tonight and they were delicious. Such a friendly place too.Our server Amy was very attentive and sweet.
