We had lunch at gooeys in waycross. Absolutely loved it. The painting on the walls told a cool story. Food was excellent and the service was unbelievable.We left thinking we were family ❤️. We will be passing by the gooeys in Baxley on June 22. And YES we are stopping to eat. I will find a way to park my truck and trailer.
I went to a birthday party in the back room of Gooey’s in Baxley. I tried think crust pepperoni and another pizza with bacon and a few other toppings. I didn’t really like the pizza. I did like the chicken wings. They didn’t refill our drinks- we did that ourselves. The party had 20 or 30 people. They didn’t rush us out or anything.
I have passed Gooey's various locations hundreds of times but never stopped in and I have to say that I have been missing out. We started with the cheese sticks and they combo of the cheeses just worked and tasted delicious. I tried the Fiery Cajun as I love my hot stuff and it had the right balance of heat and flavor. For those of you that are concerned that it will be to hot...it's not. If you can handle a low heat pickled jalapeno then you can handle this pizza. My...
