The hostess was not kind. There is no option to add yum yum sauce when you are placing an online order and apparently fried rice doesn’t come with yum yum so you have to purchase it separately. Ordered $70 worth of food and they want to charge you for yum yum sauce. 🙄 Also, they gave us two tiny cups of soy sauce for 7 different rolls and two orders of rice. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I’ve heard other people complain about the same things but hadn’t experienced this for myself.

Great Sushi!!! I go to the Braselton location, I love their dinner fried rice. sashimi always tastes fresh and I have yet to go in and get bad service or an uncleaned restaurant.

We went for lunch. The lunch menu has many options and the prices are good. Food and service was great. We will definitely be back.

My family and I have been to Umami a few times now, and each time was excellent! Each time we have been we were seated right away, there was prompt service, all food was out quick, and the food display was beautiful. We will continue to come back!

Food was decent but I knew I was going to need more sauces for flavor. I paid $.50 per sauce and they gave these half empty containers. Not saying it’s a rip off but sheesh.

We were excited to find this place close to the house but left disappointed. I will say that the server was sweet and attentive and the sushi rolls were pretty good. My husband and I ordered Ramen as well. The portion sizes were pretty small, and there wasn’t much broth. My husband’s tasted pretty good, but mine was so bad that I couldn’t eat it. The egg had a weird taste and did not taste fresh. The broth tasted like old seafood, and it was supposed to be a pork base broth. It was also incredibly bland. I very rarely ever send stuff back, but the soup was pretty pricey and it was gross so I didn’t really want to pay for something that I couldn’t even eat. I told the server that I didn’t like it and asked if I could get something else - I didn’t even ask to have it taken off of my bill. She told me that she couldn’t get me anything else or do anything about it because I gave my son some of it in a TINY bowl. I only took a few bites. She didn’t offer to make it right at all and just apologized. I usually tip pretty well, but it just didn’t feel right leaving a good tip when I had to pay $15 for the worst Ramen I’ve ever had and didn’t even eat. I do not recommend this place. If you want good ramen, stick to JINYA, Umaido, or PaoPao Ramen.

Finally a very good ramen restaurant in Bethlehem. Nice size portions too. My wife got 2 meals out of her shrimp tempura dinner. We will be returning soon.

I bought two hibachi entree’s and it came to 46.00. This restaurant is so expensive for the amount of food they give you. I also had the mushroom soup that went with it and it was no mushrooms in it…definitely not worth the price! If you’re not coming at lunch it’s not worth it and the serving size might be smaller then dinner.

A Hidden Gem for Sushi Lovers!
I had a great experience at this new sushi spot in the neighborhood. The food was fresh and flavorful, and the sushi presentation was absolutely beautiful—almost too pretty to eat (but of course, we did!). Service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. It’s clear they care about quality and customer experience. Definitely looking forward to coming back soon!

Seated as soon as we walked through the doors. Several tables were occupied when we came in for the lunch menu, served until 3pm.

Our party of four enjoyed a tofu bento box, and three hibachi plates (steak and chicken and steak and shrimp). Meat all cooked to order, with rice, vegetables and soup with salad. The bento box was plentiful with California roll, rice, salad/soup, soft teriyaki tofu (delicious and savory), along with other items...

Service was good. The bento box was the last item out - wish it would have come with the rest of the order since we all like to enjoy our meal together. Overall, the food was hot and portion size was hearty. Seasoning was minimal however they do have low sodium soy options and plenty of sauces available. Prices are reasonable for todays standards.

The lunch was enjoyed by all of us. This is a nice option recently added to the shopping center and general area. Will definitely return.

This place could be the number 1 Japanese restaurant in Winder. However, the taste is so bland. I tried again for the 2nd time today… still no taste… the only thing giving the food a ok taste is the yum yum sauce, teriyaki sauce and the soy sauce… that they charge $.50 for… not much come in the little containers. I’ve wasted my money twice. I did not eat the food. It’s sitting in the fridge. The staff is very friendly. I’m willing to try again in the future… just no time soon. Decide for yourself tho.
