Umami Tavern - Bethlehem

So glad this place opened up as we needed more variety of food. Our hibachi chicken and steak with friend rice was excellent. I can't to go back in and try their sushi.

New place, Food good & Service good. Bar area, a sushi boat setved was cool. Refill tea was consistent & flavorful. Wr received menu in mail, menu at resturant was much more.😄
Great weather wish they had outdoor seating.

I am hands-down amazed with this spot.

The environment feels calm, clean, and cozy.
Service is beyond incredible. Polite, friendly, considerate - went as far as to pour my sake from time to time. He also gave me a reasonable suggestion for food, since there are plenty of choices.

I tried the pork belly buns and beef yakitori for my appetizer, and I finished with the Umami Ramen for lunch. Each dish was unique in flavor, but immediately impressed me. I've enjoyed good food before, but these were beyond just good tasting.

I chose here just to try a new restaurant, but I'm coming back as this easily surpassed other local spots of similar cuisine - and I've barely scratched the surface.

This isnt just your average joe spot. If you're wanting hibachi, Ramen, sushi, or just overall classic Japanese cuisine - this definitely the place. What a great addition to Bethlehem!!

The food is great. I treat myself to the food here. The service and atmosphere is great. The Takoyaki in particular is great and so are the pork buns. Would highly recommend checking this place out as it has become one of my favorites.

The place was very clean. The staff is friendly and attentive. Everything was delicious. We arrived during lunch and the prices were reasonable for the amount of food we got. I ordered Szechuan Wonton Ramen. It was delicious and spicy. The broth goes well with everything. My party ordered chicken teriyaki bento box and pork tonkotsu ramen. Had crab Rangoon as the appetizer it was nice and crunchy. We also tried the spicy tuna roll but we ate it before I remember to take a photo. Just know that it was very tasty and I recommend 100%.

The beef in my meal had a funny taste. The noodles were good though. I threw my leftovers away. The sushi was enjoyable.

I ordered the umami ramen with no corn and no fish cake. Unfortunately they didnt put the dumplings in it, noodles were subpar, and also the egg was weirdly sweet? Ive eaten at lots of traditional ramen places before and for my first experience, it was just ok, but im unsure if ill return.

Overall the atmosphere was pleasant and clean, the server was prompt and polite. The food was served in a reasonable time frame. It was fresh and good, but was nothing exceptionally good or memorable. Two of us, we had the Hibachi chicken and Hibachi shrimp.

The hostess was not kind. There is no option to add yum yum sauce when you are placing an online order and apparently fried rice doesn’t come with yum yum so you have to purchase it separately. Ordered $70 worth of food and they want to charge you for yum yum sauce. 🙄 Also, they gave us two tiny cups of soy sauce for 7 different rolls and two orders of rice. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I’ve heard other people complain about the same things but hadn’t experienced this for myself.

Great Sushi!!! I go to the Braselton location, I love their dinner fried rice. sashimi always tastes fresh and I have yet to go in and get bad service or an uncleaned restaurant.

We went for lunch. The lunch menu has many options and the prices are good. Food and service was great. We will definitely be back.
