La Cabaña Mexican Restaurant

Our server Sarah was incredible.

This is our favorite place to come on Friday nights! The food is always good, the atmosphere clean and cheerful and the service is the best. We feel lucky to have La Cabaña as part of our community!

Jasmine was super nice and brought the drinks fast. She was very respectful and brought the hospitality that I look for in a restaurant. Keep it up!

We have given this place its last hoorah. Tried it time and again. Each time the food gets worse. This last order was the worst meal I have ever had. It was stone cold. Must not have gotten microwaved long enough. The enchaladas were just cheese and bean. How can you screw that up? Well it tasted like they were covered in two gallons of ketchup sauce and like the enchaladas were covered in lasagna noodles!!! Half the enchaladas were empty. Even the salsa was horrible. It's usually ok. I had two bites of my dinner and in the trash it went. I give this place no stars and I will drive to Monroe to Tacos and Beer next time. Good Riddance!

We came there for lunch today, and we have been here before. The food was good, but due to our server I am not sure we will ever be back. David could not have made us feel anymore less welcome and like we were an absolute burden to him. People like him should NOT be servers! I hope he doesn't stay there and you address this issue, I have no clue what's going on, but I can tell you as long as he is there we will NOT be back and I will make sure my family, friends and coworkers do NOT come there either!

Much better than they were before the loss of booze. Got the booze back and a new manager. Good food, wallet friendly.

We had a reservation for 8:00 PM, showed up just five minutes late at 8:05, and were told there’d be a 20–30 minute wait. Fine — we waited.

But after an entire hour, we still weren’t seated, no one checked in with us, no updates, no apologies — just completely ignored. What’s the point of taking reservations if you’re not going to honor them?

This was a total waste of our time, and the lack of communication and respect for customers is unacceptable. We ended up walking out — and honestly, we won’t be back.

If you value your time and don’t want to be treated like you’re invisible, go somewhere else.

Literally had to shoo flies away the entire time we sat there to keep them from getting in our drinks and food.
The staff all noticed that we obviously had a fly problem at our table, but all just ignored it. We asked if the problem was due to our table being at the entrance of the restaurant and if maybe if we moved it’d be better? The waiter just said no it’s the same thing all over the restaurant. I was forced to take my food home because the fly problem was only getting worse the longer we sat there.

Hand down best place iv seen anywhere close to Athens and best margaritas you'll find anywhere

I took my dad there for father's day. The food was great, service was excellent and the drinks were delicious. Would highly recommend this place to anyone.

The food needs salt or some type of seasoning cause it was really bland. Presentation beautiful! Just needs the extra razzle dazzle to it.

Had two margaritas. One for each of us attending. They were the worst margaritas either of us have ever had and were both different kinds. Upon deciding to leave the bartender said they only charged us for 1 margarita but it was 24 dollars…. So you do the math. We were kind but we will not be going back, ever.

The wait staff was nice, but the service was horrible. I've never been to a restaurant where I received my drinks after getting my food. Speaking of food, it was not the quality we've experienced in other Mexican restaurants.
