I grew up near China Town in San Francisco, so most of the Americanized "Chinese" restaurants don't impress me. Warner Robin's and the surrounding areas have the absolute worst! With one exception: Wok n Roll. Not everything is traditional, A+, or authentic, but owners are Chinese and the best cooks in Chinese cuisine in these parts. Not a fancy store front or interior, just solid, well pleasing, yummy guilty pleasures! Their Poo Poo Platters are the best. Try one at another establishment for comparison; there is none! Family owned business with conscientious cooking styles and fairly fresh ingredients. Sweet tea is store bought in gallon jugs! Note to owner: get a pot and brew own! Every gallon of tea, add two cups sugar! Offer fresh cut lemon and you are 5 star! They sell huge commercial tea making pots on Amazon! Grab a couple, make teens be responsible for making.

This was my first and last time eating here. I i had packed up half my food for lunch. But, while dumping out my veg fried rice there was a hair in a spoonful of rice I was about to eat. I am sick! Now, I have throw the food away. Also the only reference you can get of prices is an "old menu, that a customer posted on Google" per the woman I spoke to, which is st least $2 off pricing. They don't have an up to date price menu online, they don't have a website. So my food was much more than I thought it was.I need to find a clean, delicious, nicely priced Chinese food resturant. Lordy!

My family n I weren’t treated as a guest at all. Cashier(woman) wasn’t welcoming at all. She didn’t speak and was very short with responses about questions asked about the menu. I believe in good customer service vice versa. I asked her if she was even ok because I understand. STILL had a attitude. I walked out because I will not spend my money anywhere I’m not welcomed! Thanks for releases this negative energy in front of my children!

Today was our 1st experience here:-Placed an order thru GrubHub who gave us an ETA of 30-35mins-An hour later I called this location, a female answered, NO greeting or anything just said "what would you like to order" I responded with WELL HELLO HOW ARE YOU! Then preceeded to ask about my order;-When ordering online you have to select if you want silverware, we chose Yes-Did NOT receive silverware ?-Did NOT receive soy sauce or duck sauce ?-Everything we ordered (Fried Rice, Beef & Broccoli, Sweet & Sour Chicken, Teriyaki Chicken, Egg Roll & Spring Rolls) were TASTELESS! But the Egg Drop Soup was perfect -We threw away the 8pc Chicken Wings as they were evidently BATHED in SALT ?-All other items we simply re-cooked with Seasoning and Butter ?? Needless to say, this was our 1st & last time ordering here! As we shall just continue ordering from China Wok on N. Houston as they NEVER DISAPPOINT ❤️ (they were closed today sadly, hence us trying this place)

After visiting on an off for about 2 years I have decided to leave a review. I waited so long because I like to give myself enough time to experience a place before leaving a review. I will start with the service. Alot goes into the owners making sure we can get our food in a timely manner. While most are sleeping, she is up getting things ready so that she can serve us. They are always friendly and her spirit is wonderful. I have felt this every time visiting. They have the best eggs rolls in this city and that isn't up for debate. Her egg rolls are homemade while alot of restaurants just order them from some place. I always get the honey chicken with fries and an egg roll. There isn't many places you can go and doesnt need to add anything to the food to make it better, this place offer that. I always get the honey sauce on my fries and nothing else is needed. I am from Florida and moved here in 2021. If you are new here and looking for Chinese food that taste like you use to get from home, THIS IS THE ONLY PLACE. Americans can be a bit entitled. Remember we are all one, have some compassion, we are all human.

Very disappointing experience. 2nd time there. 1st time no-one acknowledged we were even there. This time, we ordered online with an anticipated 30 minute wait time. Got there, had to wait another 40 minutes for our food! We didn’t get our order of spring rolls. Staff was nonchalant to the point of being rude. Everyone was waiting the same length of tome. Not a good experience!The 7Stars was ok but not worth the up-pricing. Veggies & rice were good, egg drop soup good. But $46 for 1 main dish, 1 veggies, 2 steamed rice, 1 soup & the spring rolls we didn’t get is wayyyyyyy too much! We will not be going back.
