My mom absolutely loves the barbecue here. Would have given this place 5 stars if it was a more bipartisan establishment. Political advertising is not good for a business if you want to make all who visit feel welcome. Personal political preferences need to be left personal in the workplace and public business establishments.

Eat here many times. Always great food and friendly staff. The service is second to none. Recently had them cater the food for my in-laws 50th Anniversary. The food did not disappoint and plentiful. Thank you to the ones who got there several hours before opening to ensure that our food was prepped and ready by pickup. Also want to say thank you for allowing us to keep the hot box until after the celebration, that was helpful in keeping the food warm . I highly recommend trying them if you haven't already.

If your plate looks cold and dry when placed in front of you, more than likely it is. I take issue making the rest of my party wait for an establishment to recook and me eat after they have finished, so I do not send food back, I simply dont eat it and say before the check is paid. Which is what I did, my hickory fries must have been prepared first and sat because they were very cold and hard. Sad because they were good when I had them previously. I do not recommend ordering these. No change to the check, I was apologized to and was assured they were not old fries even though that is what they tasted like. Not the professionalism I had hoped for, but, again, I dont send food back.

I ordered the prime rib tonight, well done, to go. I have to say every bite was delicious and so tender you can cut with a plastic knife. Sorry, no picture I was too busy enjoying my food. Thank you Smokin Pig!
If you use tap to pay or have to AVOID! Went this evening to get myself and my child dinner. Called ahead cause we live in bowdon and know how busy it can be especially on a Friday night. We arrived and I went to pay with my digital wallet (as I had no other form of payment and also looked online to make sure they accepted it.) the elderly lady drove thru attendant scoldingly told me that “They do not accept tap/digital pay.” I simply responded “That’s fine however I won’t be able to get the food I only have digital pay.”. The lady immediately but still aggravated said “I’ll go ask her.” Comes back and says “We will take it this time but no more after!” As if I was being got on to for doing something the restaurant is actually capable of doing. Then the elderly drive thru attendant could not figure out the function of the machine. So a younger woman came to help and told me my card had been “declined” when I told her that it had not even been successful at an attempt and I was showing no declines on my end she tried again and it worked. I have loved the convenience of the pig for my family however I will not be returning. In all PSA the smoking pig says they accept tap but will refuse you and try to make you feel bad for it.

Salad bar and sides were tasty, barbeque I would rate 3/5. Good service and clean restaurant. I just don't get why so many people like the BBQ here, very over rated, but of course taste is very subjective:)
