We went in at 7:15 to eat dinner and they told us we had to hurry up and order RIGHT NOW because they were fixing to close because they had no staff if we were going to eat!! It seems like whoever the owner is may need to spend more time up there and try and hire quality help because I know a lot of people that did enjoy Sol Sisters including us we have been eating there a long time!! I have brought friends down here from Douglasville and it was good but now it is very disappointing!

We were visiting in town and asked some of the locals where to eat, this restaurant was recommended to us and it definitely didn’t disappoint! Their chips and salsa were wonderful. Some of the best salsa I’ve ever had, great flavor and not too spicy. The service was great, our server was very nice and attentive. I ordered the Mac and cheese plate and it was delicious. The Mac and cheese was perfectly cheesy and cooked well. The chicken was crispy and the flavor was awesome. They have a variety of cantina dishes as well as some down south food. Would definitely recommend this restaurant if you’re in town and we will definitely be eating here if we’re ever back in the area.

Great small town dining. Service was fast and friendly. Food was prepared great and had good flavor. Chips and salsa are complimentary. Definitely better than fast food. We ordered a Philly Cheese Steak with a side of cheese grits and a bacon cheeseburger with onion rings. The only complaint would be that the bacon on the cheeseburger was crumbles and not strips of bacon. We would definitely eat here again next time we're in Bowdon.

So Bowdon regularly struggles to keep restaurants open. I've been here three times now I'm really trying to give it a shot but each time I'm quite disappointed. We went for lunch around 1 PM there was us, a guy at the bar waiting for a to go order, & a group of men that came in about 45 minutes after us. So not busy. My husband ordered the chicken breasts and I ordered the quesadilla. She told me they were out of the chicken for the quesadilla (but not the chicken for his meal???) so I said the beef would be fine. The waitress brought us a basket of complementary chips and salsa and said "Lucky you you get the fresh chips"! As opposed to what ? what do you normally serve customers??? It took at least 40 minutes before the food came out. And the first thing she brought us was not what we ordered so she took it back. My quesadilla was literally ground beef and grease soup. The picture if you look closely isn't a discolored plate it's a pool of ground beef grease that everything on my plate is sitting in. I get the idea that this place is basically a bar for Friday and Saturday night not a place to come and get a meal.

Chips and salsa are good. We ordered the Sol Sisters special (rice, chicken, steak with queso) and the spice was overwhelming and borderline miserable to eat. It was hard to eat, our noses were running. Ran of out yellow rice so they gave us white and said they couldn’t taste a difference so they thought it was fine. We asked for salsa that never came out, cheese dip came out when we had no chips. Waited for beers while we watched the bartender serve multiple orders. They were out of food and beers, service needs help, management needs an overhaul because ultimately it’s their fault and not the servers. I can’t say we’ll be returning
Teriyaki bowl was amazing veggies were cooked perfectly, grilled or fried couldn’t go wrong both were juicy and cooked perfectly. Guacamole was fresh tasted great didn’t like the cheese dip great service.

Staff is great, ambience is great but most importantly the food is AMAZING! I feel that it is so important to support local businesses and that is always easy to do at Sol Sisters.
