Recently a person, EM L, posted a rude review. Google doesn't provide a platform to answer so I am posting here in answer.Each of these allegations are completely false.The space was rented from 3-6pIt was made very clear that all of the guests could stay as long as they wanted to but the food that was set up on the long tables in the front of our business in the parking spaces would have to be taken down promptly by 6, as the Pavilion would be open to the public at that time.It was not until 6:30 that we even suggested the food tables be broken down as there were no signs of anyone starting that process.This caused panic amongst the guests as it seemed that they felt as though we were forcing them to leave.It was made very clear to the Bride and many of the guests that that was certainly not the case at all and they were welcome to stay.We simply only asked that they remove the tables from the parking area.At this point the Bride was upset and encouraged all of her guests to move the party elsewhere.We appreciate the business and realize that Weddings can be a very stressful time. We would never have made anyone feel like they had to leave…It was a miscommunication between an upset Bride and her guests. We do feel terribly sorry for how the situation was taken.Furthermore, no one can legally provide their own liquor at our establishment.All alcohol on the premises must be purchased through our Distributers.All of the wine and beer that the Bride and Groom provided for their guests was purchased through us.If the guests wanted anything else to drink they had to purchase it themselves at the bar or with our servers.

Management was rude. We sat at their patio for not even 2 minutes to feed our 6month old and were told that if we weren’t going to spend money with him that we needed to leave. This was during the festival hours and they weren’t even open on the inside at all. He then proceeded to say oh you brought someone else’s beer here? We weren’t the only ones out there who weren’t customers. It was just a poor delivery from the manager. He could have gone about it a much better way.

One of my best friends got married here over the weekend. She and her husband have been members of Blake’s for some time and bring in a ton of business. She and her husband provided $2,000 of their own alcohol. Not only was Blake’s charging for alcohol inside, but they rudely started telling people they needed to leave around 5:30, including the bride’s parents. It was agreed the couple would have the whole venue until 6 pm and everyone could slowly clear out. We were rushed out, and the wait staff was talking badly about the bride to the wedding guests. It is never okay for a bride to be crying at the end of her ceremony. It was handled completely unprofessionally and for regulars to be treated in that matter is totally unacceptable.

Our family from six different states gathered at Blake's for an afternoon Celebration of Life to honor our mother who recently passed. The owner and staff of Blake's went out of their way to ensure that it was a beautiful and special tribute. The professionalism, attention to detail, caring and compassion that we experienced were amazing. They allowed us to rearrange and decorate the patio and indoor space to meet our wishes, and the staff attended to our every need. We could not have been more pleased. With family of ours in the area, we are sure to return to Blake's again at our first opportunity.

Sadly, the food portions were small and expensive. The comics were vulgar and fairly disrespectful to the handful of people that were there. After one comic thought his shtick about killing babies was funny, we had to leave.

We went to Blake’s for the 1st time tonight. It was very nice. The food was great. We had a hummus plate and also a charcuterie for 2. The service was great as well. And the owner stopped at our table. Very friendly place. Would highly recommend.

Drinks are awesome, out of flat bread, spinach dip, shrimp cocktail. Got here at 5:00 on a Saturday, band at 8:00, no food, poor planning, loss of $$$. Staff was nice, owner was present. OUT OF FOOD, Festival going on…..very disappointed… poor planning Mr. Blake

It’s a quaint place, but the service was horrible. Went there for a little date night and they sat us, gave us a drink, but as soon as a few guests came in that were friends of the owner, the attention on all the other guests went away completely. We ordered another set of drinks and never got them. But they had no problem serving lots of drinks to the new friends that’s walked in.

The owner is a think highly of himself rude little man. A simple question was met with 'the sign on the door tells you that'. Hey maybe we didn't see the sign on the door since we are now inside. Jagoff.
