Sat down at 6:30 and still no dinner by 9:30. We left without eating anything except a couple of appetizers and they weren't great. We are pretty sure our waiter never put in our order. I actually feel sorry for him. We were very nice to him regardless of the terrible experience. This was our 6th time eating at Marc and each time the service and food quality was gotten worse.

I really wanted to enjoy my visit here, but the experience was disappointing from start to finish. Partway through our meal, the fire alarm went off — it was loud, disruptive, and made the whole dining area chaotic. We ended up having to evacuate to return to a cold dinner. The waiter informed this happens all the time. Unfortunately, no one from the staff offered an apology, explanation, or any sort of compensation for the interruption. As for the food, it didn't make up for the inconvenience. The dishes were bland and not worth the price. Overall, it felt like the restaurant didn't care about its customers' comfort or satisfaction. Definitely not somewhere I'd choose to return to or recommend. Also every member of our party was sick all night and that is the only place we ate together after traveling.

Absolutely loved my meal at Marc! The ribeye was tender and flavorful, the mac and cheese was creamy and rich, and the brussels sprouts were perfectly crisp. Great food, friendly service, and a classy yet comfortable atmosphere — I'll definitely be back!

Over all we had a perfect dinner. The food was fresh, tasty and delicious. Our server was attentive and friendly. The kitchen was running behind because of the amount of people eating the night we were there. The car show was taking place and it was nice to have so many people from different areas. Our server was Hakem (?) and he went out of his way to make us happy. The wine options were amazing and Hakem helped pair our dishes with the right choice. We will be back!

Nice food The creamed spinach not up to par- too much like a soup very liquid and too much cheese. Everything else was delicious and the server very polite. thanks

Overall, a good experience but not a great one. We asked for a nice romantic table in our reservation and instead we're seated in the middle table of a large booth seat that runs the length of the restaurant. Okay, we can handle that, we asked to be moved and we're given a nice table by the windows. The service was great, but the food was lacking. For a steak house, I've had better. If you are staying at the inn, thus makes a nice meal, but wouldn't say it's the best you've ever had.

Hassan was our waiter and he was extremely great! I really enjoyed his service and kindness. There wasn't a lot of Vegan options however, Hassan made it as easy as possible for me. The food was great. Drinks was great. Atmosphere was great!

Our server was a gem - very sweet and knowledgeable about the food. The cocktails, the side dishes, the blue cheese sauce for the steak, and the desserts were all delicious. We were disappointed in the steaks, which were the main event. They lacked seasoning, and my steak was severely undercooked in the middle and overcooked on the edges. It just seems reasonable to me that if you're going to charge over $60 for a steak, it should be melt-in-your-mouth perfection, and it wasn't. The ambience of the patio seating was also a little lacking. It was kind of echoey, not plush at all; the furniture was sub-par, the windows looking out onto the lawn were smudged, and there was a ton of cob webs hanging around the exposed pipes in the ceiling over our table. They can do better. Overall, we enjoyed coming back to Chateaux Elan to celebrate a milestone event, but it was definitely not as special of a dining experience as we had hoped.

The server was fine. The food was less than mediocre and overpriced. The noise level was outrageous. The wine was subpar and poorly presented. My advice: go somewhere else.

Absolutely EXCELLENT. The steaks we had we cooked perfectly and were “melt in your mouth” good. The sides were so tasty and the service was attentive, but respectful of our conversation. No room for dessert, but I am sure it would have been incredible!

Food was like warm, there was an awful smell coming from the bathroom the entire night. The only saving grace was the service, however we felt rushed our whole evening. You’re better off going to Versailles on the property. .

The dining experience was extremely disappointing. The bartender was overwhelmed with service bar tickets, leaving us with minimal attention, and our food took over an hour to arrive after ordering. Despite watching the bartender struggle, the manager remained at the hostess stand rather than stepping in to help. The lack of leadership was clear throughout the evening! Chateau Elan please do a manager overhaul!!!!!!!

The food was mediocre—the fried green tomatoes were awful! Both my husband's and my entrees were cold. His salmon was overly salted, and the mushroom ravioli was not very tasty. The highlight was the impeccable service from the young man who waited on us.

Dined at Marc's for my boyfriend's birthday celebration and we had a fabulous experience. Not sure why the negative reviews. We had the 1855 steak and seafood pasta and both were superb. Our waiter was very professional and accommodating! I would definitely recommend Marc's Restaurant!
