Food was like warm, there was an awful smell coming from the bathroom the entire night. The only saving grace was the service, however we felt rushed our whole evening. You’re better off going to Versailles on the property. .

The dining experience was extremely disappointing. The bartender was overwhelmed with service bar tickets, leaving us with minimal attention, and our food took over an hour to arrive after ordering. Despite watching the bartender struggle, the manager remained at the hostess stand rather than stepping in to help. The lack of leadership was clear throughout the evening! Chateau Elan please do a manager overhaul!!!!!!!

My wife and I celebrated her birthday by staying at the Inn and having dinner at Marc. The atmosphere was excellent, food was terrific and Hasan was awesome! He gave us the closest experience to having service at an all inclusive resort out of the country!! Thanks again Hasan for making it a memorable experience for my wife’s birthday!

First time ever reviewing a restaurant. Took over an hour between apps and food. When I asked why it took so long, they told me it sometimes takes over an hour to cook a steak. What a joke! Also, way overpriced, but that’s not the main issue here.

We made the mistake celebrating an anniversary here. The service was fine, food took 90 mins to come out. The manager informed us it takes 60+ mins to cook a medium rare steak. Apparently, high end is just freezer steak. Worst experience we’ve ever had. Thanks for ruining our special night!
Celebrating our Anniversary with a fabulous brunch! Fantastic waiter Matthew gave wonderful suggestions and fabulous service. First time here will not be the last!!
We enjoyed Marc burger and Turkey BLT. Huge portions and delicious!!

The food, service and views onto the vineyard were great! We especially liked our server, Colin, who did a fantastic job!

Colin was an exceptional server—attentive, warm, and made our experience at the Marc truly memorable.
Absolutely horrific experience- waiting 1 hour and 30 minutes for our dinner - no apology when the food came
The steaks were smaller than what Waffle
House serves. The food was sub par for the price.

. What we ordered was not what we got, but still charged. The ribeye was overcooked. The mac and cheese had something unidentifiable in it. For the price this was very disappointing. Server was polite, however he never checked with us about how we were doing.

The menu options were just okay. My husband and I shared the Ceasar salad that was on par with the bag stuff. Then it took Forever to get our entrees, so much so the waitress comped our wine. My salmon was very good but I wasn't hungry anymore and my husband's Riley was good but not worth $60. We shared the baked potato which was okay (I make better ones at home). It's sad when the best part of the meal was the bread!

My husband had the Bison Chili. He said it was okay, however, the Bison needed to be cut up a little smaller. The pieces were too big.

The view from the back room was stunning, creating the perfect backdrop for our evening. The room was comfortably set, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Every dish was seasoned beautifully and cooked to perfection. The complimentary champagne was a lovely surprise and added a special touch to the night. Our server was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. A truly delightful dining experience!
We’ve now visited Marc B&R a couple of times and, overall, have enjoyed the food. I ordered the ribeye on both visits, and each time it was cooked exactly as requested. On the first visit, I added Oscar-style on the side, but the crab wasn't of premium quality, definitely not worth the price. On our most recent visit, I tried the scallops with my ribeye, and unfortunately, they were severely overcooked. The largest one was gummy and rubbery; the smaller ones were about half the size and inedible.
My wife, on the other hand, has been pleased with her meals - duck on the first visit and maple whisky salmon on the second, both of which were prepared well. The only dish we both agreed missed the mark was the crab cakes. I typically look for large chunks of crab with minimal filler, but these were mostly filler, with only a modest amount of crab. That said, the breading was crisp and the garnish was a nice touch.
Where Marc B&R consistently falls short is in the timing of service and entree delivery.
Appetizers, soups, and salads were served promptly, but the main courses took far too long to arrive. In fact, during our last visit, a lighthearted, though telling, joke circulated our section as multiple tables compared how long they’d been waiting for their entrees. While most were understanding, waiting close to an hour for food is a serious issue that needs attention. The table next to ours asked to speak to a manager. When we left, the manager still hadn’t come by.
On a positive note, our server was fantastic — warm, attentive, and genuinely happy to be there. She did her best but seemed overwhelmed by the number of tables she was handling.
Now that we’ve experienced similar delays on both visits, we may still return, but only if we’re not in a hurry. And next time, I’ll stick to simpler entrees and avoid seafood and steak enhancements.
Oh, they require a credit card to make a reservation. I made the reservation a few hours before we went and most of the time slots were available, except 7-8. When we arrived, the restaurant wasn't very full, so a reservation wasn't necessary.
One last gripe, the reservation said to call if we were running late (otherwise they could charge the CC). We were, so I called and spoke with a very chipper AI program named Olivia. I kept trying to reach a person, but when she finally transferred me, I got a voicemail that said I was calling outside of regular hours (I wasn't). If you're going to have a policy that requires people to call, then you should have someone available to answer the phone. AI Olivia couldn't understand when I said we would be 15 minutes late.
