Traveling from Virginia to Montgomery Alabama we made a quick detour to Stonewall’s BBQ north of Atlanta for lunch. The service was personal and helpful. The restaurant was very clean. The food was VERY tasty and good value for the money. Highly recommend.

I have to say that the staff and owner are top notch, especially the gentleman that delivered our catering order. The poor guy was met by me, a somewhat frantic Italian mom, thinking that we did not have enough food for our party( because we tend to overfeed guests) the man that delivered our food remained calm, went and got us extra buns and was courteous at all times…our guests raved about the food! Everything was delicious and YOU WERE RIGHT! I was wrong 😂….We had more than enough with leftovers. We gave several references to party goers and a huge thank you to the owner, staff and the man that delivered on the restaurants day off!!!!! He is honestly a gem.

Quite disappointed. To go service was quick. I enjoyed the Cole slaw and the sausage link was very good. The beans tasted like they were out of a can, the ribs were not flavorful and it looked and tasted like the brisket was boiled, not smoked. One visit and done.

Great food and friendly service. Everyone was very friendly. The brisket was exactly how I like it. Not too much fat, consistent slices, and just enough smoke so it doesn't overpower the natural flavor of the meat. The peach cobbler was just like granny's.

I’m always iffy about barbecue. It all taste the same. But I seen award winning bbq with the name, I had to try. THIS PLACE IS AMAZING. I see why it’s award winning. It is so far from the basic bbq. Absolute must try place. DELICIOUS.

Highly recommend. The food is excellent and good value as well. I had the pulled pork with coleslaw and mac'n'cheese. The pulled pork pulled apart easily with a decent amount of sauce. There is sauce on the table to add to your preference and the sauce is very flavorful. The sides, particularly the coleslaw, are also good.

Wow what a treat! The other reviews about the friendly staff are TRUE !! Paris and Clarissa were super fun and welcoming. Let me sample the Brunswick Stew before ordering. We went on a day they featured smoked wings. We also tried the famous cheesy potato bake and the bread pudding. I don’t know what bread pudding is supposed to taste like, but if it’s supposed to be a deconstructed cinnamon roll that’s what this tasted like. You could serve this with praline pecan crumbles and vanilla ice cream at a high end restaurant and it would get ordered all day long as a dessert! The green beans were great as well. Also got a sampling of meats. The turkey is juicy and fresh, the smoked wings dipped in ranch were great. The BBQ was good, but it is not what a lot of places do where they chop or pull meat. This is more of a shredded bbq pork that has sauce cooked into it and it has that reddish color to it. Also if I want to be picky there weren’t a lot of bbq sauces to choose from (I could be wrong but there was only one at the table). Overall my wife and I were very impressed with the meats, the sides, the staff and the cleanliness. Anytime we are in the area we will stop by to see what specials they have !! If there isn’t a special we want they have enough great staples on the menu to choose from!!
