Could be the best fettuccine chicken Alfredo with broccoli I’ve ever had. You won’t be disappointed.

Food is not the same from the last time I had it, which was about 6 months ago. Their food was much better back then. I will look for a replacement unfortunately!

This is the slowest restaurant. It’s so frustrating. We can never get anyone to answer the phone and so we drive there and place the order and it’s currently been an hour and a half for three pizzas and still no pizza. How can it take so long? This has happened multiple times; but this will be the last time. So disappointing.

The food is good but the service is so bad 👎🏻 Went for lunch, restaurant was empty besides us and server forgot my drink and never came back, got another person to finally get the drink and then food came and still no rolls after server said she would be back with them. Never saw the original server again and had to ask someone else for all the things forgotten. When I mentioned how bad service and experience was we were told oh that's too bad we won't be giving any discounts for it. Like I work in a restaurant and the entire lunch experience was unacceptable. Careless and rude from beginning to end. Alfredo was great though so yay for that I guess lol.

Flies everywhere inside. Poor service- two orders were wrong. Food was really disappointing - nobody at our table enjoyed theirs and another person in the restaurant seemed to be telling the waitress that she didn’t like hers either. Staff arguing with each other in the kitchen….. ugh.

I really enjoyed my meal at the Roman Oven. However, I was a bit disappointed to notice they included the tax when computing my 20% tip, which bumped it up to 21.4%

Food is good....when you can actually get it. Been here three times and never had bad food. That being said, the service is so slow, I'd rather not go. The staff really could care less about how long it takes and there seems to be no urgency in fixing what problems they have with service. If I purchase food again from this place, it will be take out only.

I really hate to say this... But this place has really gone down hill.. they used to be really good when they were at 124 by traditions, but I don't know if there's new owners or what, but it's horrible now.. hate to say it.
I always get a sausage pizza back when they were over by 124. It was great. Not greasy whatsoever, actual sliced sausage on the pie with good quality cheese and sauce.
But this pie I picked up today, let's completely disgusting.. the sauce tasted really cheap, the cheese itself is super greasy... Like when I move the slice off of the baking sheet and it was on the cardboard box for probably 2 minutes, there is a puddle of grease because the cardboard cannot absorb any more of the grease from the pizza... That and the sausage is so disgusting, no more sliced real sausage, but they use these big sausage balls that taste like DiGiorno pizza...
Definitely feeling a little ripped off after paying $24.
It's sad to see a small business change so dramatically, but it is what it is.
whether they are new owners, or the original owners, I really hope they change their ways and put money into their ingredients like how they used to.

We recently visited Roman Oven, a small, local spot that caught our attention with its cozy charm and warm, nostalgic interior; reminding us of the family-run eatery from the Netflix movie Nona. Drawn in by neighborhood buzz and some mixed online reviews, we decided to give it a try.

First impressions:
We had tried calling the restaurant multiple times on different occasions with no luck; no one ever answered the phone, which was a bit frustrating. However, once we arrived, we were greeted and seated promptly. The staff was friendly and attentive throughout the meal.

What we ordered:
We tried the Margherita Pizza and the Fra Diavolo Pasta with Chicken. Unfortunately, the food didn’t quite live up to the anticipation.

Margherita Pizza:
While the crust had a nice airy texture and looked promising, the first bite left us underwhelmed. Instead of fresh tomato slices, the pizza was topped with diced tomato, which made the crust soggy. The use of dried basil rather than fresh was disappointing, and the drizzle of balsamic vinaigrette felt out of place. That said, the cheese was the redeeming element; melted well and flavorful.

Fra Diavolo Pasta with Chicken:
This dish came out in two parts: the pasta and the chicken separately. The pasta itself was hot and flavorful, but the chicken was a real letdown. It seemed like pre-cooked chicken that had been microwaved and then hastily covered with sauce. It wasn’t even properly heated, and we couldn’t tell if it was meant to be crispy or just poorly prepared. The contrast between the well-executed pasta and the lackluster protein was confusing.

Other notes:
The presentation of both dishes was underwhelming. Drink refills are limited—you get one additional refill, so don’t expect bottomless beverages.

Final thoughts:
We love supporting local restaurants, and Roman Oven has potential with its welcoming service and charming ambiance. However, based on our experience, the food quality and execution leave much to be desired. Sadly, this one is a pass for us.

Visited here for the first time to try somewhere new with a friend. We entered the restaurant at the same time as a large group of people. The hostess asked someone from the party how many and they said her “8, but not everyone is here yet.” She began turning around get their table together so I spoke up and informed her that my partner and I were a separate party of 2. She took on an attitude and replied “Well they were here first so I’m going to seat them first,” and turned her back to us. As if I had asked to skip them? No. I was simply clarifying that we were a separate party to avoid any confusion since we all came in the door at the same time. This gave off bad vibes. While waiting, we read over the excessive amount of signage that rivaled a passive aggressive corporate break room. “No more than ONE refill.” “No substitutions per Chef.” “Be kind to those of us who showed up to WORK (capitalized for some reason?)” the one that took the cake was “Parties of 6 or more will not be seated until all guests are present.” I believe this rule to be unnecessary yet also ironic given the circumstances. We did not wish to be seated before the larger party. But we did wish to be spoken to with respect. So we left and instead enjoyed Italian food at Pasta Masters down the street. Much nicer atmosphere and pleasant staff.

Hostile environment. Right when you walk in the door, there are these authoritative, less than welcoming signs that just made us walk out. “Table of four or more MUST BE PRESENT to be seated.” “Only ONE refill allowed.” “No pasta substitutes - The Chef.” “Be kind to those who showed up to WORK.” You’re going to charge $24 for a basic pasta and chicken entree and this is your tone with your guests? Even the hostess/waitress/busser assumed the face resembling these unpleasant directives. Her interaction with us carrying a know it all, scornful tone. I just wanted to sit down, relax, socialize with my friend, and have a nice meal. I just walked out instead. Maybe the food is worth it, but I’d rather avoid feeling unwelcome as a guest and go somewhere that understands inviting patronage requires some serious unclenching. Will not attempt to revisit. Place wasn’t even that attractive aesthetically, just basic.
