Visited here in years and I was so so very much disappointed at the quality of food they serve for breakfast buffet on weekends. I paid $40 plus tip and the selection of food was far from what other restaurants offer. It should be somewhere around $20 and $15 for hotel guests. I came for the ambience and not coming back ever.

Be prepared to be underwhelmed if you visit Versailles on a Sunday. We were expecting a sit-down brunch menu but when we arrived, the only option was a very mid-level buffet. While the food was ok - edible - it was so underwhelming for the price. There is no ambience - it was a large, sterile space that may be good for a wedding reception. Food options included a salad, fruit, smoked salmon, spaghetti with tomato and basil (huge pile of dry spaghetti with one tiny piece of tomato and no basil in sight), sausages/bacon, boiled eggs and pastries that look like they'd been picked up from Costco. I expected more from Chateau Elan and for the price. My friends and I each drove 1 hour from each direction. Unfortunately, Chateau Elan has lost its luster.

We went to this place during Vine Fest weekend for lunch. Food is slightly above average, limited choices if you are vegan or vegetarian. We liked the ambience and service is top notch. Overall good experience!

Overall we were disappointed with our meal and experience. Our waitress was nice but the overall food quality I have come to expect when dining at Versailles was fair at best. The waffles were like ones you would get at the breakfast offering at a Holiday Inn they did not check to ensure all the fruit was ripe, and so many of our selections were quite disgraceful. The pastries were like ones you could get at Sam's excluding the little petits they had in seasonal flavors. The Seabass was underwhelming. It was also distracting to hear as much commotion we had from the weight staff, though it may have been where they placed us whic was nearby, where they were getting ready.

Food was great Staff was amazing!! We have dined there frequently and it is always consistently great.

Not as Expected... We booked for an anniversary brunch. Upon making the reservation we were given an actual menu to choose entrees from and the photos appeared to be a fine-dining experience. Unfortunately, it was a large dining room with some people actually in pajamas, sweatpants, etc. Not AT ALL fine-dining. And not at all what is portrayed on Chateau Elan's website. Instead of a romantic, fine-dining experience, we were faced with a breakfast buffet. It was quite the disappointment. We drove quite a long way to celebrate our anniversary at what we thought was a nice fine-dining brunch. The Chateau Elan should do a much better job with their reservations and differentiating between available restaurants. There was a large variety, but the food was mediocre. The only thing that was great was Bobbie Jo. She was wonderful! She made what would otherwise be a total disappointment and gave us great service and kindness. While the grounds are nice, and the dining room was attractive, though not intimate, the overall experience was a letdown.

It was a lovely experience overall. We arrived and wandered the grounds, ate some grapes and after ordering drinks from the pub went and sat on the grass in a sunbeam. Dinner was in the Versailles room and while the food and service were amazing, the noise level and tvs made it seem less like an intimate dinner and more like we should have showed up in blue jeans. Wouldn't have gotten as fancied up had I known. The last time I had eaten the was in 94 and it was much more a high end French restaurant. Still, no complaints, after dinner moves to the fireplaces and walked the very lovely grounds. Was a wonderful experience. You should definitely go.

We had a very nice dinner last night after spending the day at Chateau Elan. A little pricey for pasta, but overall a nice evening.

The website is misleading. It says they offer brunch and lunch on Saturdays. I don't like brunch or buffet at all and I just went for regular lunch. But once I got there, I was told they only serve buffet brunch on Saturdays (again, not what the website says). So basically I got some cheese and salami (since I don't care for the rest of buffet food) and paid $52 per person. Never again!

Blown away by the ambience of the winery and inn. Greetings and customer service matched. I have traveled the world auditing wineries and the staff were knowledgeable, in particular staff KD. Never knew Georgia offered such an experience. Then the wines were exceptional! Not too many winemakers can display their mastery through both white and red wines equally while creating a personality for each wine. The winemaker is a Genius! We enjoyed riding bikes around the property and exploring and would recommend e-bikes to master the terrain, but very enjoyable. I would say the only disappointment was no vegan choices on the menu. We had brunch and I found the food not matching the rest of the experience, even though it was brunch. We will be planning a 3 day experience exploring all that is offer at Chateau Elan.

The ambiance is lacking. It's too open and too tinny. It's not cozy and intimate. There's no real vibe. The food is fine but is priced way too high for what you get. We had had our appetizers for about 5 minutes and a serve tried to deliver our entrees which I sent away. When we got them back you could tell the plates sat under the heat lamp. It was not good and not what you should get when the apps cost $25 each and the entrees $50+.

Overall long wait, high end food for the rich isn't for me. Everything was flavorless. Due to the fact we had to wait a long time for our food the wine wand soup was free, our soup tasted like cafeteria pizza.

This is definitely an upscale restaurant dressed as a causal hotel bar

The ambience was unique and the glass ceiling and open air concept made me feel like I was eating a fancy meal in the middle of the day like Downton Abbey.

The food was great! Bread was so soft and warm and buttery. Salad was fresh and well dresssed. We had the Lamb Shank that was so well braised and tender I honestly didn’t need a knife. My wife had the Filet Mignon and it was had the perfect sear and tenderness that you expect from a place like this.

Dessert was meh, it was complimentary so I’m not judging it too closely since it’s not stuff we would have ordered

Chateau Elan's Versailles restaurant is located in the larger conference and spa building which exudes a casual luxury - perfect for a lunch with friends. The restaurant is located in a large, skylighted rotunda which gives a feeling of both spaciousness and privacy. We were seated quickly in a lovely half round booth which offered privacy for our birthday lunch. The downside of the skylights was that the sun was uncomfortable and made it difficult to see and our request for another booth out of the direct sun was denied - although we could see booths on the other side which offered shade. Although it was not busy our server took some time to arrive. We had to ask for a wine list which wasn't presented to us. Food choices for our party of four included three panini sandwiches and one salad niçoise with tuna with one glass of wine each. We were presented with one bill rather than individual ones. The cost per person was approx $50. Our lunch was fine, the service was adequate, and we had a lovely time together. None of us would choose Versailles again for a special lunch out with friends.

Beautiful space- I love a swanky hotel restaurant/bar and it’s nice to have one in this area. Atmosphere aside, the food, wine and service were all sub par. My friends and I visited for a girls night and the highlight of our meal was the bread, which we think was likely Kings Hawaiian.
