Chateau Elan's Versailles restaurant is located in the larger conference and spa building which exudes a casual luxury - perfect for a lunch with friends. The restaurant is located in a large, skylighted rotunda which gives a feeling of both spaciousness and privacy. We were seated quickly in a lovely half round booth which offered privacy for our birthday lunch. . Food is mediocre. Service was slow. They seated us in a closed area. The manager did apologize. The server was great. Good for bigger groups / corporates etc. The verdict is 50/50.

The ambience was unique and the glass ceiling and open air concept made me feel like I was eating a fancy meal in the middle of the day like Downton Abbey.
