Normally when I go to a Cuban restaurant the Ropa Vieja meal comes with black beans. When I ordered the meal the waiter asked me if I want black beans and I said yes assuming it came with the meal. Then I get my bill to find that I was up charged $3.50 for the black beans. Also, they brought out the churro desert with our meal that had ice cream which forced us to eat the desert first. Fantastic food! We tried a little of everything, and it was all hot, fresh and deliciousI I LOVED the iced Cuban Coffee, made with shaved ice. What a find. We’ll go out of our way to return.
Ate dinner on the patio. It was lovely. Loved the fried yuca with that sauce… omg. Mojito was solid too. Really liked the Ropa Vieja sandwich too. I will definitely be back - I want to try those loaded tostones! ?
