I truly hate to leave a negative review because the entrée I had—short ribs and grits—was absolutely one of the most flavorful dishes I’ve ever tasted. Unfortunately, the poor service overshadowed the amazing food.
Our server, Carmel, seemed completely uninterested in her job, which was evident in her lackluster attitude. If an 18% gratuity hadn’t already been added to the bill, I wouldn’t have left a tip at all.
I also ordered the Harlem Peach cocktail, which was unbearably sweet—essentially “diabetes in a glass.” When I politely mentioned this to Carmel, her response was, “So what do you want to do because we don’t take alcoholic drinks back.” I showed her the nearly untouched drink, explaining I’d only taken two sips, but she just stared at me as if I were the problem. Feeling frustrated, I ordered what my friend was drinking instead.
Refusing to take back a $15 cocktail to make a customer happy is poor business practice. This left such a bad impression that I will never return to Roc South Cuisine when visiting Atlanta. By prioritizing a small profit over customer satisfaction, the restaurant has lost not only my business but also the future business of everyone I’ll share this disappointing experience with.

Drove 50 mins to get to the location only for them to tell me they canceled my online ofder because it was for a after 7:30pm pick up absolutly trash the least you could have done was update the orders instead of just having your customes show up to disapointment and youll get a refund in 3-5 days.... really loved this spot but after this experience coupled with my last few ill never be coming back again!!

I’m conflicted with this one. Food was good, but one reason I may not visit again is because of the service charge. It was 5 of us with 3 different checks and we all had a service charge. We had to pay a tip, service charge and tip the valet. I did not know this as it was my first visit so that caught me off guard.

Erica was simply the very best server! Her demeanor, speed and care for us was superb!
If could give this restaurant a 10 I definitely would. Roc South exceeded my expectations. From the valet to park your car free of charge tip is suggested. My family and I went to celebrate my daughter bday we made reservations. It took no time to be seated. Waitress was pleasant the atmosphere was very comfortable.
The food is something to experience you will not be disappointed. I will definitely visit again.

FINALLY got to try this place out!
I’m kicking myself for how long it took me to make my way here ?
From the moment we pulled up til the time we left it was great!
We pulled up & its valet only but don’t worry he works off tips only.
We walked in & were greeted immediately and were seated just as quickly.
We scanned the QR code & browsed the menu- we couldn’t decide so 2 Apps it was lol.
We went with the seafood dip & the eggrolls (they had meat in them & looked similar to a Philly eggroll)
Our waitress checked on us periodically ensuring we were good & we most definitely were!
We ordered the grilled salmon and turkey legs.
Omg the turkey legs were fall off the bone delicious ?
For sides we had Mac & cheese, mashed potatoes , yams & yellow rice- everything was bussing.
My only complaint is that I wish the seafood dip came out a little warmer but other than that everything was A1.
Oh & the DJ was doing his thing too ??

Complimentary valet was cool, but not consistent - my sister was told to park her own car. The food had good flavor, but was a little salty. When the check came, I was surprised to see an unexplained service charge. Overall cool spot, so I give it a 4.

I ordered doordash from this restaurant and it was awful. The fried catfish was dry and hard. The cornbread was dry and hard. The peach cobbler was ice cold and the ice cream that came with it was melted because it was in the bag with hot items. Not quite sure why they gave me ice cream to put over ice cold cobbler kind of defeats the purpose. The hotsauce was overly sweet. The only items I purchased that were actually good were the sides (collards and mac). Nothing seemed fresh made especially the catfish. It seemed like they fried it early, reheated it, and threw it in the container. This was overpriced and underwhelming. Oh and they forgot my coke. I expected better based on the Google reviews.
