It was absolutely horrible for it being my first and last time. The only thing that went well was the hosting. We were sat in the bar area and greeted. We ordered drinks and appetizers. We were asked if we wanted water with our liquor, we said sure and was offered tap or bottled. My glass was dirty, food residue was stuck to the glass.. I asked for another one and that glass was dirty as well,due to have sparkling water, I dranked from the bottle. Our appetizers came and the waitress told us about specials and then said let her know about the entrees and walked off. This was around 9:00 pm.. We kept looking for her and had to call the hostess to have her come take our order at 9:30. The restaurant closes at 10:00 and our time up in the seat is at 10 as well. The hostess had told me the snapper takes about 40 minutes to cook and to my surprise it came out in 25. Everything we ordered was lukewarm including the sides. We received our food at 9:55.. Around 10:05, we were asked if we needed boxes.. Who gives 10 minutes to eat a WHOLE snapper, turkey wings or sandwich? After feeling rushed we said sure. The boxes were brought to us along with the bill. The service charge DO NOT MATCH THE SERVICE. On top of that, we were all sick on Saturday after ordering IslandJon from your restaurant. IslandJon has never had that effect on any of us. I will not be dining here again. I don't care if we made reservations at 8:30 pm,we should have been treated as if our reservations was 5:00 pm and our food should have tasted like that as well. For a $300 + bill, y'all have to do better.

The food was great. The seafood rolls especially were really good. I had the lamb chops cooked to perfection. The drink was excellent as well. The service was okay, it seemed pretty busy at the time with limited staff. With that in mind it wasn't bad but it did take some time to get service after being seated.

I ate here this Saturday and when I say our server was so pleasant, I can’t remember her name but she was very pretty and she had pixie hair cut( I think her name starts with a M) . The guy with the locs at the bar was super nice as well… Now let’s get into that seafood dip that was bomb with that soft bread that’s served with it was perfect. I also ordered the fried catfish with smoked gouda grits with a crawfish sauce that came with it… Baby everything was and it’s rare these days when it’s from start to finish…. This was a 1000000/10 for the entire experience at this establishment 👌🏾 Oh yea the pomegranate mimosas were good as well 😊

I truly hate to leave a negative review because the entrée I had—short ribs and grits—was absolutely one of the most flavorful dishes I’ve ever tasted. Unfortunately, the poor service overshadowed the amazing food.
Our server, Carmel, seemed completely uninterested in her job, which was evident in her lackluster attitude. If an 18% gratuity hadn’t already been added to the bill, I wouldn’t have left a tip at all.
I also ordered the Harlem Peach cocktail, which was unbearably sweet—essentially “diabetes in a glass.” When I politely mentioned this to Carmel, her response was, “So what do you want to do because we don’t take alcoholic drinks back.” I showed her the nearly untouched drink, explaining I’d only taken two sips, but she just stared at me as if I were the problem. Feeling frustrated, I ordered what my friend was drinking instead.
Refusing to take back a $15 cocktail to make a customer happy is poor business practice. This left such a bad impression that I will never return to Roc South Cuisine when visiting Atlanta. By prioritizing a small profit over customer satisfaction, the restaurant has lost not only my business but also the future business of everyone I’ll share this disappointing experience with.

Drove 50 mins to get to the location only for them to tell me they canceled my online ofder because it was for a after 7:30pm pick up absolutly trash the least you could have done was update the orders instead of just having your customes show up to disapointment and youll get a refund in 3-5 days.... really loved this spot but after this experience coupled with my last few ill never be coming back again!!

I’m conflicted with this one. Food was good, but one reason I may not visit again is because of the service charge. It was 5 of us with 3 different checks and we all had a service charge. We had to pay a tip, service charge and tip the valet. I did not know this as it was my first visit so that caught me off guard.
