Used to love this place. New owner literally doubled the prices for the exact same food. Greedy and RIDICULOUSLY overpriced. Go elsewhere. NOT worth these prices.

I went The One Sushi Chopped with my longtime friends and ordered Ocean Pyramid and KBBQ along with rolls - Rice is right and one more roll but I forgot the name. The service was more than perfect, and the sushi rolls were fresh and delicious We never had a dish like Ocean Pyramid before and it was fantastic. And one of my friend fell in love with KBBQ. We will defiantly come back.

We ordered delivery via Uber Eats, so the atmosphere and service is based on presentation and appearance of food. Here's a few opinions-- 1. It was super pricey. I worked in a pricey sushi restaurant back in the day (Steel)-- i expect super high quality sushi for that price, but what I got looked and tasted old, almost like it was pre-made days (or many hours?) earlier. (We ordered the buy 1 get one sushi roles. Perhaps this is why the quality seemed so low? But that shouldn't be a reason when the rolls go for 25$ a pop). The Tuna was super dark and discolored (brownish-purple). The salmon was tasteless and thin like prosciutto. Avocado discolored.....just expected better. 2. Corn in the miso? Ok...but why? 3. For a 200$ order we get a super tiny bit of Wasabi. 3. The boxing and presentation was straight out of Waffle House. -- I'll eat at waffle house when I've had a long night, but wouldn't expect to pay much. 4. I would eat more, but only if I my job had booked a party and expected me to be there, or if...etc. *** overall...you get what you pay for? No!!! You don't. Really considering throwing away leftovers....that's crazy. (How do they think their food is worth those prices?!)

Not as good as it used to be (sushi) miss the old menu. Door was open and temp was warm in restaurant. It’s always loud and noisy in there with TVs going. The tempura flakes are weird crunchy balls now in the sushi rolls - it's odd.

New to the area and The One was one of our favorite restaurants in the neighborhood. The food tasted fresh and authentic. We recently went and instantly noticed a change in the food quality and prices. Wine was a fair price here for a decent selection, now a glass is minimum 14 a glass for a low end bottom of barrel Selection. They charge at a price point for high quality food but give you garbage. We ordered the grilled sirloin priced at over 30 dollars and received two thin sheets of mystery meat that was 100 percent not grilled and looked like it was microwaved. Easily the worst value for a steak I have ever paid for and you can’t say something is grilled if it’s not made on the grill. This place is going to go out of business if it stays this way and we hope that something changes soon. This location is too good to be serving food this bad at the price point they are

I have to post this because other parents need to be aware. We recently went here for dinner me and my 2 kids, they are changing the menu. They used to have a kids bento box that they would get but apparently they have cut that option out. The only option was to get them a chicken fried rice that was a tad over priced and huge. They don’t have a good wine selection anymore either. I totally understand redoing a menu but they are located in a family orientated area and for me it would be nice to have that option. Our server was amazing services was great he was very apologetic for all the things they didn’t provide any longer. I will give it a few months before trying them out again but I really hope ownership takes some feedback from this.

I had the sushi/shashimi. Food was great- fresh fish and cut thick. My wife had the steak and it was delicious- I stole a couple bites. Server was very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend

Went there last night with my wife, our server told us if they are in middle transition with new menus, but still had great and plenty choices. They also had special price cocktail with soju based and it taste great too. Definitely will come back.

We dined in tonight. The One was very recently an excellent Japanese restaurant. They had serviceable sushi, an excellent sake selection, and a simple menu of hibachi and izakaya fare. Now, they’ve changed (or are transitioning) their menu and it’s a mess. There are two entirely different menus (fine dining grill and fine dining sushi) you’re given when you sit down. Both are Cheesecake Factory expansive, and you’re negotiating two different appetizer menus, two different entree menus, two different everything. There is prime steak and country fried chicken. There is Korean BBQ. The cocktail menu has pina coladas, blue Hawaiians, and margaritas. What is going on here?

I used to have very nice, very cold classic cocktails at the bar. I ordered a dry gin martini tonight and a lemon drop with sweet and sour mix arrived. I ordered chef’s choice sashimi don and half of it was imitation crab, egg, and shrimp bogged down with a nasty chile crisp.

This place has turned into the worst restaurant at Disney World overnight and it’s embarrassing.

Amazing meal! Even for someone living in a sushi neighborhood in NYC

Food quality isn’t the same. It doesn’t taste fresh at all. I couldn’t finish eating my sushi. I ordered the Double Decker. Service is always good though.
