My family and I have lived in Brunswick for decades. We usually eat at New China Restaurant on Glynn Avenue. Recently I've started getting my wife sandwiches from Jersey Mike's. Since it's right next door, I tried the food here at China One and got the #10 Special, shrimp fried rice with four (4) chicken wings to go. Once I got home and look in the container, I found two (2) small shrimps sitting on top of all the rice. I thought maybe I'd find more in the rice once I ate some. Nope, that was it, two small shrimp. The rice tasted bland and that might explain why. New China gives at least a dozen medium to large shrimp on their to-go order. And their shrimp fried rice taste like what it's supposed to taste like, shrimp. Guess I'll be going back to New China. DS

I've gotten takeout a handful of times and usually it's decent for a quick Chinese food place. Had the sesame chicken last night as usual, and a few hours later I woke up having to vomit. I'm quite the foodie, so every now and then I get hit with illness from restaurants. The timeline and symptoms are always the same, so I'm confident this was another case of food poisoning. Won't be going back. Three stars because the food does taste okay.

The food has no flavor what so ever. It’s by far the worst experience our family has had eating Chinese food. Our favorite place to eat Minh Sun in Brunswick is closed on Sundays so we gave China One a shot. Let’s just say we will Never be eating from there again. Also my husband walked in to get our pick up delivery and the workers were all sitting down to eat and they all looked @ him like he interrupted their dinner!!
Even ordering via doordash, food arrived fresh, hot and quickly! Crab Rangoon was excellent, fried rice was fluffy and not overly oily. The chicken in the honey chicken was large cuts of white meat, shrimp was fresh and delicious. Very impressed and pleased.
