My family and I have lived in Brunswick for decades. We usually eat at New China Restaurant on Glynn Avenue. Recently I've started getting my wife sandwiches from Jersey Mike's. Since it's right next door, I tried the food here at China One and got the #10 Special, shrimp fried rice with four (4) chicken wings to go. I've gotten takeout a handful of times and usually it's decent for a quick Chinese food place. Had the sesame chicken last night as usual, and a few hours later I woke up having to vomit. I'm quite the foodie, so every now and then I get hit with illness from restaurants. The timeline and symptoms are always the same, so I'm confident this was another case of food poisoning. Won't be going back. Three stars because the food does taste okay.
Even ordering via doordash, food arrived fresh, hot and quickly! Crab Rangoon was excellent, fried rice was fluffy and not overly oily. The chicken in the honey chicken was large cuts of white meat, shrimp was fresh and delicious. Very impressed and pleased.
