It would have been a 5 star fast food experience if the cashier Jamie working drive through wasn't so unpleasant. The food was fast and fresh but Jamie's presence on the speaker and at the window made me feel unwelcome and like she hated her job. She never even said "Hello". When I politely asked about the total being higher than expected she gave me a nasty look and said "The price of our tray went up it's like 9 something after tax." I responded "Oh, really? The price says 7.99 on the menu." She stared at me in silence. I asked for ketchup, she gave it to me and closed the window. No goodbye, thank you, have a nice day, nothing... Food is good as always though.

The cashier Annette was very rude and disrespectful to where she didn’t get my order right. She didn’t give me the chance to speak and kept cutting me off. Once I got home there was only bbq, mayo and pickles on my sandwich when I wanted everything. She should’ve stayed home with that attitude.

Usually I go through the drive through but decided to walk inside this time. The service here was horrible Annette was flat out rude. When ordering she was giving me an attitude and acting like I was an issue for coming in. I worked in the food industry for over 10 years and the way she handled herself is truly unprofessional. The food is usually good though.

Food was fresh and good. My first time trying the chain after driving by so many. Char-grilled burgers and fries? Yes, please!
Dine-in was very cramped, definitely a to-go meal instead of dine-in next time.

I entered Brunswick Georgia Cookout on 4/5/2025 and ordered a hamburger combo meal with Cole slaw and hush puppies and an extra double cheeseburger. (nothing out of the ordinary). 25 minutes later and watching 7 other people get their orders in 5 minutes or less, I asked the woman behind the counter could you please check on my order. She went in the back and checked and said they were working on it. Then I sat back down, and another woman told me that my order was backed up. However, no one else's order was backed up. We waited another 5 minutes watching them fill 3 more orders but not mine. After sitting there 27 minutes my wife went up to the register and asked for our money back. The woman said again our order was backed up (which wasn't true). For whatever reason they didn't want to serve us, so my wife asked to speak with the manager. He came out and didn't apologize or handle our situation correctly. Instead of giving us a refund he double charged us and claimed he was crediting my credit card account. My wife asked and said there was no credit mentioned on the receipt. He said he credited my account. He lied to me and my wife. Cookout ended up charging us $28.00 dollars for food we never received. These people were incompetent and dishonest. They lost me as a customer for life. Now I will be writing to the CEO of the company and working with my credit card company to reverse the charges. We have read similar stories about Cookout mistreating other customers the same way. I am surprised that Managers of Cookout are not trained properly in handling customer disputes.

Pulled up to drive-thru to get my food and I see an employee making shakes. He's absolutely making a mess. His right arm is covered with milkshake running down his arm. Wiping the cups off with hopefully a clean rag before placing the lid on it and giving it to the customer. It just looked nasty. I don't buy shakes here. I do like thier chili cheese dogs. However, it makes me wonder how my chili dogs are being made. 🤷‍♂️

Been here multiple times and food has been messed up every time. I ordered 10 Cajun wraps, which is a weird order, but I proceeded to receive only 5. HALF THE ORDER. Possibly goes hand in hand with the C rating on the window in the drive through.

There was a large amount of food for the money, the workers were professional and friendly, and the atmosphere was clean! The milkshakes were more like blizzards, but they were awesome. Also, I love the scripture on the cups!

This is a late review, but after reading most of the other reviews I’m convinced we’re all talking about the same girl. We had ordered some milkshakes and food from here a couple of months ago it was pretty busy she gave us our milkshakes but there was an extra one had our name and order number on it plus she handed it to us in our hand later on another couple comes up talking about their missing milkshake which is the same as the one she handed to us after they make the couple the milkshake she yells at my family “Don’t take food that’s not yours” and i obviously get mad because she yelled at two 8 year olds then used the excuse that her manager was there, the past few times I’ve been here after this incident she wasn’t here so I assume she’s been fired but still they can’t hear and the food comes out slow, It would be better if the get better service.
