Used to be one of my favorite places until they went woke so I stopped going until recently. Seems they are now trying to back pedal and revert back to some of the traditions that made this a great place. Some of the previous items are now blanked out on their menu but still a pretty good selection.

We had a server with short brown hair and a larger nose. We’ve been to many Cracker Barrels in the past, but this is by FAR the worst. She cut us off completely not even welcoming us in. We waited over an hour for service and she never gave us the simple biscuits, she entirely left us only giving drinks yet giving every other table who were waiting a much shorter time their food and biscuits. Once we got our food and supplies the waitress didn’t even give it, another one did. Do NOT go here unless you want no service met with some a server ignoring you!

Foods good, takes a while to come out but usually you get everything you ordered with no problems.

Avoid this place like you would a dead skunk ! The service is terrible and the food is pitiful. The lady at the counter when you start to pay your bill is very rude and when you ask where the toothpicks are she will snap at you and tell you they don't furnish them but she will sell you one for a dollar. When I spoke to the manager he just nodded his head and he just wanted me to leave, There are Cracker Barrel's just north of Brunswick and South near the St Mary's exit all which are run professionally and staffed with great people and GREAT service. If you go to the Brunswick location get ready for bad food and service and rude checkout.

Visited this location on 12/21/25, would rate it the worst Cracker Barrel experience that I have ever had. Ordered Country Fried steak with gravy, pinto beans, steak fries and broccoli casserole. Was served Country fried steak with no gravy, hash brown casserole, steak fries and pinto beans. I was told “We are out of white gravy”, and was served a dry country fried steak. I wasn’t ask if I would like an alternate meal, apologized to due to them not having one of the most common items on their menu. At that point why even ask why I was served hash brown casserole, I assume you order what you would like and they bring you what you get. I wasn’t offered a refill until my meal was over and we were leaving. We actually didn’t see the waitress again until then. Checking out was just as pleasant, the cashier seemed perturbed that we needed to pay, and what I would assume was the person filling the manager role was standing there. Wasn’t worth speaking to anyone in person, you could tell that customer service wasn’t something they had any focus on. Please do yourself a favor and drive on past this location. There are gas stations in the area that would more than likely be able to provide you a better experience.

The sausage seemed to need more cooking, it was done but not browned enough.

I'm really not a hard person to please but I didn't expect the coffee to be barely warm and obviously old to boot on a Sunday night at 6pm. There was hardly any one else there and we finally got our biscuits just as we were finishing finished our dinner, even though others were getting theirs shortly after ordering. The staff are obviously unhappy and working against each other. I won't stop there again. Go to Cheddar's down the Street.

Great service and love the relaxed atmosphere while traveling! The food is consistently good including this visit. Love the addition of some healthy options along with comfort food.

We decided to stop for a proper meal after traveling for 15 hours. The food was good, but sadly disappointed by the white gravy that tasted canned.
But more disappointing was the employee in the women's restroom, on her phone, having a vulgar conversation about unfair labor practices. And then she carried her conversation into the walkway between the men's and women's restrooms. I brought it to the attention of a team member, not sure how it was resolved. Otherwise, good value for our meals.
