We went to Daddy Cates for the first time and I have to commend them. Their latte was delicious but more importantly it was HOT and stayed hot for quite a while. I get so frustrated these days with coffees that arrive warm and then are cold before you can finish them. I also got an egg and cheese croissant and it was delicious!
If you’re looking to enjoy a great coffee in a really cool downtown area, this is your place. The iced latte’s were awesome, the service was amazing and, the downtown area was a great place to walk around while enjoying our coffees. There is also a park nearby that has some information about the Liberty Ships that were built in this area during WWII. Highly recommend getting off of I-95 and visiting this area. Lots to explore!
The atmosphere and environment are very nice. A boutique coffee shop. A place where you can have a good time. The young lady working is smiling and helpful. Just a suggestion, the coffee cups can be changed. It would be better if it was served in a cappuccino glass with a more formal presentation.
