Service was very friendly and helpful. We tried 3 different pastries--lemon cream horns, baklava, and eclairs. There's honestly nothing wrong with them. Certainly much better than Dunkin'. I was looking for something irresistible, that I would have to struggle against coming back. These just didn't do it for me. I'm going to continue my search for the perfect pastry/donut in Brunswick.

I ordered a special cake from Holloway’s for daughter’s 3rd birthday last year. The party theme she wanted was unique - “Spider-Man and Unicorns” - and I wasn’t sure how I’d incorporate the two very different types of characters. When I went to Holloway’s I was afraid combining the two themes might look tacky, but the cake ended up turning out beautiful! The staff were very accommodating and helpful, and had great cake decorating suggestions to fit my requests. I absolutely loved it and my daughter was so excited when she saw it.

You’re basically paying for boxed cakes and cupcakes with a decoration job. Tastes like cardboard. Nothing impressive or worth returning.

I am so happy with my experience with ordering from this bakery. Everything I asked them to do with my birthday cake they perfected. The icing was amazing and the cake was very moist. Their prices are very affordable and well worth it. They were so kind when I came into order my cake as well when I arrived to pick it up.When my family saw the cake they were absolutely stunned and so was I. I will 100% be ordering from them again. Wife and I made a spontaneous trip to Saint Simons Island today and on the way back to Florida searched for local bakeries and was very fortunate to choose Hallaway's Bakery. Fantastic Bakery and they had gingerbread men, women and a bear. I have not enjoyed gingerbread this good in over 40 years, so good. Wife enjoyed cinnamon sugar cookie that she loved and saved her key lime filled cupcake for later, which I have no doubt will be delicious. Next trip to Brunswick, Hallaway's will be my first stop and I will buy all of the gingerbread items.

Do not buy from this place. They only sell and forget. This is been happening since day 1. But they do not offer repairs. Should have gone to SK Lavery.

My husband researched local cakes and drove here to pick up my birthday cake. ( thru Savannah)It was terrible. Cake is so dry it is crumbling, covered in thick rock hard frosting and concrete decorative frosting. I’m guessing it had spent some time in a freezer. Tastes like cake from a box.This was a “ big “ birthday, he wanted a special cake. Any grocery store cake would have been better.Avoid.
