Isn't that too much? I ordered soft tofu and it was almost $25. Is this the price?? Even the radish greens were spoiled ㅠㅠ

A famous restaurant owner in Augusta, Georgia a long time ago said he had reopened the restaurant, so I went there. The owner's signature menu is, of course, Jjambbong. Here, you can experience the generous serving of seafood and the taste of what you would have eaten in Korea in the olden days. If you're passing through Interstate 95, be sure to stop by and check it out...

It's a quaint place. There are pictures with numbers for the food items, which can make ordering helpful. The food was delicious. An assortment of tasty banchan with your meal. The kimchi was very good. Service was quick, and the staff was friendly.

Very small place. The food tasted great just like back in Korea. Would like to see a more brownish sauce with garlic on the bulgogi.

Great little place. Owner was very accomodating to our large group arriving unannounced. I've been to Korea and this dinner brought back some good memories.

It's delicious and the portions are generous. You don't have to order a double portion.

This was the best restaurant!!! We visited Saint Simons and ate out every day for a week but nothing was so good that I would have taken the time to review it. On our last night, we drove to Brunswick to try this Korean restaurant and we were so glad we did!! They went above and beyond what I could have imagined. We were at first surprised at the prices of $15-25 a plate. But then the food came and we realized why. It was rolled out on a cart and the presentation was beautiful! The portions were huge and the service was better than any restaurant I've been to. The $20 Bulgogi (#5) was piled high on a cast iron skillet. I assumed the rice was under, but nope. The rice came separate in a small bowl along with all the toppings in individual bowls that they would refill for us consistently. My husband got $25 La gal Bee (#6) and it came out still sizzling. The steak was cooked to perfection. Again, piled high on a cast iron skillet. The meat from just one dish would have been enough for a family of 4. We also tried jap chae (#13) which was similar to the bulgogi meat but mixed with tons of translucent noodles. My son had seafood Ramen and chose medium spice... which was quite spicy! The chef joked with him that you always start with mild if it's your first time! Haha. We still ate it all and took home some bulgogi with rice and all the toppings. We loved all the toppings: kimchi, some type of root, bean sprouts, seaweed and cucumbers.Their kimchi is made fresh and delicious but our favorite topping was the marinated cucumbers. The owners were so incredibly nice and hospitable. We will definitely return again on our next visit to St. Simons.

Korean food tends to be expensive in the States but this place felt especially pricey. However, after tasting the food, it all makes sense. The portions are huge, and everything from the main dishes to the side dishes is delicious. The kimchi, in particular, tastes like freshly made kimchi, which I really liked. As a Korean, I can say that this place offers very authentic Korean food. However, the one disappointing thing was that they didn't use sticky short rice to cook the rice;
instead, they used long rice. In Korea, no one eats long rice... The two ladies(Ajummas) working there are very busy but always check if we need anything.
