The restaurant is inside of an old waffle house. Pretty neat. The waitress was kind and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious. I had fried shrimp, cheese grits and squash and zucchini casserole. The casserole was out of this world!!!! So, so good. We got the 1-lb of fried shrimp, with two sides. $28. Then I ordered 2 more sides at $3.95 per side. The shrimp were a good size. 5 of them filled me up along with the sides. Highly recommend. In Brunswick Georgia Exit 29

We read the great reviews and stopped here for lunch. It was even better than the reviews - delicious food ( pork chops for him, shrimp Po boy for me) and such friendly service. Kristen was our server and was so pleasant!

Best fried shrimp I’ve ever had, they weren’t overcooked like too many restaurants do. Pam had the flounder, it was excellent. Our food was cooked to order and came out hot. Side items were very good. Owner operated, he has years of experience preparing seafood. Fish camp atmosphere sets the tone for the Shrimp Shack.

Went there for lunch with my grandparents. I have the blacken shrimp Alfredo. Pasta was slightly overcooked, slightly oily from saturating the shrimp. (nothing to fuss over fat=flavor) my grandpa had the fish tacos special. Seemed like it was decent over all. And last of all my grandma have a small shrimp basket with coleslaw. The shrimp were cooked perfectly. She enjoyed the slaw (for her that’s a plus)

Food is good but they are definitely cutting back on portions used to get a decent size fish cut and vegetables as a side and literally got 4 pieces of zucchini (soggy and mushy) and a sad piece of cutlet with more breading than fish. Disappointing because flavor and taste wise its good.
