Randomly stopped here during a 12 hour road trip back to Florida and I am so glad we did. The plate on the left is the Size Small Curry Chicken and the one of the right is the Size Express Jerk Chicken. 20/10!!! Im so sad I don’t have this place back at home. Also the pretty bartender/cashier gave excellent service and the place itself was a vibe 🫶🏼

I’m not sure who the cook is but jerk shack over the years has gotten nasty 🤮 . I had an oxtail plate and jerk chicken plate was nasty both were SWEET ! The presentation of the plate was messy ! The peas and rice mushy with no authentic taste . Not worth it . The Jerk shack use to be the go to spot for some real good Jamaican food but now take your chance riding to Jacksonville

First time visiting. Went to see the band play. Ordered the advertised special of fried shrimp, whiting and fries. Nearly an hour later, still no food. There's less then 10 people and I've seen a few people come in, order to go, and out the door with their food in 15 to 20 minutes. Bartender was super sweet, said she didnt know what was taking so long. I asked her to refund my card, and she did with out issue. First impressions mean a lot, wont be back.

At first glance you might miss this treasure that this place is. They had a bucket catching rain water in the middle of the restaurant. However. The staff was super friendly and the food was great. They even had a fella playing live music and it was awesome. Loved it.
