We decided to try this restaurant while on a mini vacation because we had heard that the food was good. Unfortunately, the person who seated us not only did not greet us, but we noticed that a couple who came in after us received their drinks and we had not even been acknowledged. We decided to leave after sitting unattended to. We went to a wonderful seafood restaurant called Fiddlers on St. Simon's island instead.

The fried squash appetizer was delish! Also, the ribeye sandwich with onion rings was a must try. It was very good. They also have hot and buttery cheese grits that are very good. Service was good, too. If you've never been here, you gotta stop in and try this local restaurant serving local seafood and other items. You will not be disappointed!

The food was ok. We got a trio platter and split it. 1 catfish shrimp and fried oysters. Grits and FF. The grits were cold, all of the seafood was over cooked. So brown you couldn't hardly chew it. Every thing had great flavor just cooked to death. Was disappointed, every other time we have been there it's been great. Will try again. Maybe it was just a fluke.

Older, well established casual fish restaurant. Seems to have a loyal, repeat business group of patrons who know and enjoy the food. There is a small bar with drink specials. Jesus bikers sit alongside Jimmy Buffet tourists, who move over for construction workers. All seem welcome.

Went there for lunch the other day. Food took forever to get there. After we got the food waitress never checked on us again and had to walk up front to get our drinks refilled. The second time asking to get our drinks refilled I was told I was too inpatient. The deviled crab was all stuffing and very little crab meat and was told was frozen not made in the kitchen. The food was not warm when we got it and the shrimp appeared frozen not locally fresh. On top of everything I spent that night in the bathroom with food poisoning.

I went here with my family today. Everyone ordered different things so I'll tell you how they were. Shrimp and oysters were amazing. Squash, okra, fried clams, poboys all wonderful. 2 things were not good at all. The lima beans tasted canned with a very strange flaver and were hard. i ordered fried mushrooms to go. when i got home i discovered what looked and tasted like canned mushroom pieces battered and fried. I have never ordered fried mushrooms before and not gotten whole fresh mushrooms but these were bad bad and ended up in trash after 2 bites. Onto better things... sweet potato, baked potato, fries,grits all very good. If i had to pick best it would have to be oysters, sqash and okra. And everyone said hush puppies were amazing. I dont personally eat them but they were raving. The beans and mushrooms they need to toss for better products. They should really have to tell people about mushrooms at least not being whole and fresh
We went Labor weekend for the all you can eat crab legs . They were seasoned to perfection! I told the cashier the cooks need a raise. They staff was helpful and very friendly. The food was amazing! The atmosphere in relaxing . My favorite are the lamp shades over the tables. They also have huge fish all over the restaurant. Definitely a must stop and see kind of spot! I can’t wait to go back.
