I’m shocked of the rating of this place. Went their once and it was awful. I’ve always lived in big cities and have been around the world, so I have a good palate. I think slop is better tasting than this.

Tina was my server on Tuesday I came in for a takeout drink and was surprised by one of my regulars that offered me sit down and Chat with him for a few minutes I work at this location and it was a nice surprise to be able to sit and enjoy a meal with one of our loyal customers Not only is it an honor to be invited to the table, You. Also never know who might need a listening ear. Or what advice you might get from that particular person that day. We came from Atlanta to visit a loved one. We used to stop at the location in Tifton until it closed. This was our first time at the Brunswick location. My favorites were the cabbage, butter beans, cheese grits, fried okra.fried chicken, shrimp and the fish was to die for,OMG. I only weigh 165 pounds, but probably 170 pounds now,lol. That's ok I'll make it up. This will be our new spot when we come down there. Definitely go it's so worth it. I can cook really well myself so in order for me to enjoy eating out the food has to be Delicious!!!

We were on vacation at St Simons Island for my birthday. We saw the restaurant on the way in to the island. We ate lunch on Aug 20th and it was awesome! Came back for dinner on the 22nd after a day of golf and the food was good but not near the same as our lunch. Still would recommend but I would choose lunch over dinner. All of the waitresses were very friendly and helpful! The reason for the 4 stars is the dessert side of the restaurant was very disappointing. It all looked good but had a lot to be desired.

The bar was clean, the food was hot, delicious and they kept it well stocked. The fried pork chops were out of this world. It had everything you could want on that bar and it was all fresh. The servers were pleasant, attentive and kept the drinks coming. If you leave hungry, it's your own fault. Very affordable.
