Always taking forever with every order foods good but the wait is terrible probably should have more than one or two people in there a day and I do a pickup and they tell you to wait as if they can't hand you your that's already doneđ¤Śđžââď¸

On Sunday, July 27, 2025 at 6:00pm, we placed an on-line order for delivery. Per the email receipt of the order, the estimated delivery time was between 6:36pm and 6:46pm. We ordered a medium original crust âThe Worksâ. The receipt makes no sense but the price we were charged was $16.49 and we used our âPapa Doughâ so that was to be applied somehow. The pizza, less the discount and the delivery fee of $4.99 plus $0.38 tax makes our cost $5.86. Even though they charge a delivery fee, we were also going to tip the delivery driver as we always do because we appreciate what they do.
At 6:35pm, someone from Papa Johnâs called and said they COULD NOT deliver our pizza because they have no delivery drivers and since we are not members of the Door Dash club they wonât deliver â we would have to come pick up the pizza. Why didnât they say that when the order was placed? Why was there no phone call we they started making the order, knowing it was for delivery?
We literally live 5 minutes - 1.3 miles from the store. My husband and I are disabled and, on this occasion, we just didnât feel like going out. That was the reason we ordered the pizza for delivery in the first place. We donât belong to any Door Dash clubs because that just adds fees on top of more fees and drives the cost of the food up.
When my husband gets to the store, he noticed there were several other people there to pick up orders and some âdoor dashâ type people were standing around waiting. My husband asked the man, âas an advertised pizza delivery company, youâre telling me you donât employ any delivery drivers? The man replied âno, we donâtâ. To keep my husband from causing a scene â the guy said enjoy your pizza at no charge. Which, at that point would have cost us less than $1 out of pocket after removing the $4.99 delivery fee. Thank goodness we used the Papa dough up because that being our last pizza it was not up to par as usual and it was cold.
Iâve searched and searched but nowhere on the Papa Johnâs website or the online order app canât I find anything in writing that says Papa Johnâs stores canât deliver unless you are a member of a third-party delivery service. What I can find is you say you stand by your product and delivery of your product â your Quality Guarantee. But in this case, thatâs not exactly true. You canât advertise you deliver if you donât actually deliver. If you only use third-party delivery services you need to state that on your website and app.
Let me also say, we LOVE Papa Johnâs pizza. The Works, The Hawaiian, The Cheeseburger. Yum! But after this we can no longer be a customer.

My oldest had order papa johnns and he payed with his credit card online and they said they were going to take them 44-55 minutes and my brother paid 23 for the pizza and it never CAME!
Places an order last night online, used my credit card even did a tip. Haven't received anything no one called about it being voided on there end. It was supposed to be delivered but nothing called that store 10 times talked to someone and they said someone will be delivering it. Called this morning and she told me it was voided out. So why didn't I get a call about it. Money should refund back to my card within 24 to 48 hours. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THAT STORE AGAIN. HAVE VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE
If your business lists that you close at midnight, and you call a customer after the fact and say, âyou put your order in too lateâ when they ordered during your listed business hours, you should adjust your business hours. What an absolute disappointment.

06/26/2025 - I sent my boyfriend in to place an order of half and half pizza since we were nearby. The manager, I am assuming, rejected taking our order because they were trying to close. We got there at 9:28pm, they dont close till 11pm. He told us to order online instead because they wanted to focus on closing and online orders... I have never had an issue ordering half and half pizza here till tonight, and it was extremely frustrating to order online due to the topping max. We didn't up ordering the pizza the way we would inside due to that limit. I am extremely upset because we spent literally more time figuring out everything online than it would have been in person. As someone who has worked in the food industry for so long, this is extremely unacceptable....

From the start I knew it was a mistake in ordering but I just had ordered 3 weeks prior. The girl couldn't find my address and apparently didn't know how to type in a new one that would match my physical address. The Uber driver called and of course he was at the wrong address, I gave him directions and he came 10 minutes later. I accepted my order and returned to my apartment. I ordered a large cheese pizza with extra cheese, I got a burnt pepperoni no extra cheese barely any cheese at all, and you guessed it COLD as an ice cube. There are other pizza places in Brunswick, time to shop around I guess. We were having a memorial dinner in honor of my son's birthday, 15 years in heaven.

I ordered pizza from here Sunday night and when the pizza was delivered it was made wrong. It was missing some of the ingredients I had selected to be on the pizza

Gave it three chances, never got the order right. Got a pizza with zero cheese once, ordered wings twice and never got them. Had to bring back a delivery that was wrong and couldnât do anything but remake it when it took 2 and a half hours to begin with. Good luck if you want the right food and or want it within two hours
