I agree with Wandering Jeep’s review. We walked in and asked about a tour, the guy that works there told us to give him about 15 minutes to hang out and he’ll come get us for the next tour. Right after this a group walked in & walked to the back area with the guy and it looked like he just started to give a tour and did not even bother to tell us anything. After waiting over 20 minutes we went up to a lady at the bar to talk to her and she completely disregarded our existence after we said hello. When she finally decided to get off her phone, she answered with an attitude “can I help you?” and she told us to wait another 30 minutes for the next tour. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. not sure if the difference of ethnicities had any impact on the experience but sure felt like it .

Was told to wait until the half-hour after waiting right next to the guy he took another group that walked in after us straight to the back and left us waiting for another 20 mins. After going up at the half hour and asking about the tour the lady at the counter said the tour had already started, which the guy started 20 mins earlier than he said, and would have to wait another 30 mins for the next tour. Very unprofessional and would not recommend going here.

We visited Richland Rum's Brunswick, GA location yesterday. What a treat! We booked the Expressions Tour which included a tasting of 5 Expressions. The tour was approximately 30 mins and very informative. Who knew that rum distilling was so simple? The rum tasting was excellent! We purchased a bottle to take home which was uncorked as we got home.

My husband and I visited last Thursday with a group of friends and highly recommend the tour and sample option. We had a ball and loved everything about Richland Rum Distillery!Rose went above and beyond when I phoned to make tour reservations. She was so friendly and you can tell loves what she does. She is a true professional.Martin gave a top notch and informative tour. He also educated us on the different rums we sampled during our tasting. Martin has a great personality and wonderful sense of humor.Emily did a great job behind the bar assembling and pouring our sample flights. She is very sweet and professional, as well.

Best spirits tour I've been on. It was a personal tour, just me, that started the moment I walked in. Martin was exactly as detailed as I hoped he would be, and fully answered all my questions. I never learned so much. Between this and the Indigo Coastal Shanty restaurant, we have two good reasons to come back to Brunswick, GA.

We had an absolutely fantastic time at Richland Rum. We went about a week ago for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We used the Groupon deal and the staff was very accomodating. We arrived early and were able to start the tour early as well. If anyone from Richland is reading this, ROSE WAS AMAZING! She gave a great explanation of the distilling process, was kind the entire experience and was gracious enough to take photos of the group. All in all, if you want some good quality rum from a locally owned and operated business, check out Richland.
My husband and I have stopped in numerous times as we go by Brunswick on the way home. We stopped in today and the gentleman (one of the owners) behind the counter was dour. Even then, we still purchased two bottles of rum (total cost $170) as we like their rum. If this was our first visit, we wouldn’t have purchased anything. He should stay in the boardroom and leave the selling to his staff. Anyway, we won’t return as he clearly doesn’t appreciate their clients.

He walks you nicely through the distilling process during your tasting without taking a lot of your time.Some of the best rum I have had in a very long time. Don’t sleep on the Pineapple Express either! Stop in for a tasting, you won’t regret it. About 5 minutes off 95.Thanks, Buddy!!!
