Yummy lunch food. Everything ordered was delicious and very fresh. The street corn alone is worth going back for. The meat on the tacos were tasty and had plenty of it on each tacos. The staff is friendly, will answer all your questions as well as offer suggestions. My food order was taken around 1:15 and without a line, it was ready in a flash and I was thankful as I had another place to be after lunch. No complaints about anything. The above review was created after going there a second time and getting my food to go. The first time I came here, I ate outside and I arrived at noon. Different experience. There was a long line stretching toward the door yet my food was ready in only 10 min. Very impressive. The taste was fresh and delicious. I’ve proved to myself whether it’s a busy noon lunch time or after the noon hour rush, the food still melts in your mouth, the staff pleasant regardless of a long line or not, and food is served quickly. Five stars ⭐️ absolutely! So glad to have this unique food place in Brunswick. ??Kid-friendliness: Sitting inside or outside, this place is fine for children.

South of Heaven is truly a hidden gem in Brunswick! Food to me is an expression of art and comes from the heart of those who prepare it - the owners embody every aspect of that in their menu. After living in foodie cities like Houston, Tampa, and Orlando, it’s hard to find unique eats here but South of Heaven fits the bill. My husband and I love the brisket and try to visit whenever we can. Their customer service is top notch and I love how welcoming the owners are with a “make yourself at home!”

Great BBQ sandwich. Huge portion, topped with grits. The Brunswick stew was delicious!

Food, atmosphere and people all were awesome. Got the brisket and pork plate with Brunswick stew, Mac and cheese and Cole slaw. Will be back for sure next time I'm in the area. Good stuff. #ynotgeorgiabbq

Food was good. I got two brisket tacos with a side of coleslaw and a regular size sweet tea for $19 and change. I don't agree one meal should be $20, also when you go to a BBQ place they usually have different types of sauces which they did not offer us if they had any. All in all good food but very expensive for what they serve.

Where to start? Ok the Brunswick stew is the best I've ever had with the perfect blend of flavors and textures leaving you wanting more! The pulled pork BBQ sandwich was piled high and their sauce is amazing! The special was the Wriggley-Piggly, talk about mouthwatering! Dip that in the jus and your palate sings with joy! Oh and their mac-n-cheese is incredible! This will be on my list every time I visit! Wish it was in Atlanta! Hint hint A special thanks to the gracious owners Judd and Kate for their warm welcome, taking good care of us and their passion creating such wonderful fare and sharing with the world! See ya next time and hope it's sooner rather than later!

Tacos were great with generous amounts of meat. Their street corn side was AWESOME. Friendly staff, great sweet tea.

If you visit the Golden Isles and don't go to South of Heaven Bbq, you did it wrong. My husband is from Texas and always says you can't find decent brisket in Georgia. South if Heaven changed his mind. All the sides are to die for.

Can't say enough about how good this place is. Had the brisket sandwich and it was absolutely loaded. Plenty seating outside for when the weather's nice with inside seating as well.

Really good bbq! The sauce has an amazing Midwest kick to it that is surprisingly unique and delicious. I'll bet none of you knew the name is a Slayer reference, did you?

I'll start by saying I'm pretty picky about bbq. Stopped in for lunch and ordered the brisket plate with Mac n cheese. It was all delicious. The brisket was moist and had a nice peppery bark. The Mac n cheese was creamy and very tasty. They serve the bbq sauce on the side (like it should be). The sauce was very good and complimented the brisket nicely, but the brisket could also stand on its own and didn't need the sauce. All in all, I'm impressed. I'll need to try a few more items but SOH is starting out with 5 stars. The girl on the register was nice and helpful as well. Her recommendation of the Mac n cheese was spot on.

I haven't found a single thing that I haven't liked. If in being honest - I've tried almost everything on the menu. They always make sure to greet you and say bye when you leave. Always friendly, fast service! They've finally started selling their sauces and I'm on bottle 3 in a week. Lol, you definitely won't be disappointed here!Kid-friendliness: Laid back, plenty of seating that's kid friendly

This little slice heaven in Brunswick, GA. The food is always delicious every time I eat there. The service is great too. The outside seating is a plus during the fall weather. I love their tacos and Mexican street corn too.

I came on a Saturday around 6pm and was lucky they weren’t sold out for the day. (They keep their instagram updated with their food status!)When I arrived the place was pretty empty. I had the brisket tacos with a side of street corn ($16). It took several minutes for them to prepare, and they brought it right to my table. The tacos were huge, and more importantly delicious and very filling. All the elements of the taco came together perfectly. The street corn was also delicious, and it was a huge portion.Overall I was impressed and I would love to return to try some of their other options!

Two words......Street corn. Geez. Food is amazing. I also had their Brussel sprouts that had a goat cheese & balsamic vinaigrette on top. Ridiculous. Prices are good. The workers are super friendly & have great attitudes.
