Sumo Hibachi and Sushi is a hidden treasure in Brunswick, GA! Not only did their delicious food transport me to Japan, but the economical prices made my wallet do a happy dance. The friendly staff provided service with a smile, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The portion sizes were so generous, it felt like a sumo wrestler's feast! It's the perfect place to unwind and forget about work stress, even for just a little while.As a trainee at FLETC, taking a break and enjoying a fantastic meal is a must-do! This restaurant is amazing! Very tasty food, always freshly prepared, and the staff are super friendly. They started to recognize me after I went there twice, had my order memorized, and gave some extra sauce. Please dine here and tip them generously. :)

To be honest with a limited selection the food did appear quite wonderful. That's like the best thing. There is no sushi bar to sit at so while they do have a viewing area for the available options you must leave your table in order to see it. Speaking of tables...omfg this is the worst part of almost any dining experience I've had in the last 20+ years. I changed seats half a dozen times because they put you in booths that are adjoined and apparently no one sitting around me has ever been on a plane because they just kept bumping, jumping and slamming into my back while eating. The food was ok though, sushi in south Georgia while eh was ok.

Sumo Hibachi & Sushi is my favorite restaurant. We go frequently and have never regretted eating there. The Sushi is fresh and the presentation is excellent. Great service from the wait staff and we never wait for the food long. The restaurant is clean and pleasant. The manager is awesome. Friendly and remembers us when we show up.Bathroom is clean which tells me they care about their patrons. We have eaten in and did take out. 5 stars ⭐️ in my opinion.

I've ordered a few times on DD, dined in and taken out. I ordered sushi, a side salad and clear soup. The tuna and salmon were very fresh, the soup was flavorful and the side salad was a very good portion and crisp!

I called to order takeout and was having my boyfriend pick up for me because I’m sick. I got my order placed and was trying to ask a question and the lady just says “okay bye” in the middle of me talking?? Never asked for my name or anything. Her attitude was rude in general. The phone call lasted about 30 seconds. Maybe it’s just me, but I thought it was just rude.
