First time in Sunny Side Up. It is self seating but we were able to get a table right away. We had breakfast, but they serve lunch too. My guess is this the spot for chicken and waffles as I saw a lot of plates going out piled high! My husband ordered Eggs Benedict which he thoroughly enjoyed. And he is PICKY about Eggs Benedict! All the servers looked like they were having a good shift. The restaurant was very clean. Restrooms too! It is easy to find and parking is a breeze. I want to go back and try the salmon cakes.

Staff is friendly and looked clean. I only had 2 eggs and grits. Eggs cooked perfectly. Their grits were very watery and required a spoon. They brought me a second bowl, after stirring the pot and still very soupy. Not sure if always that way. It was a large portion, full bowl, for a side of grits.

We had breakfast here the other day. It was a late breakfast and it was busy but plenty of open tables. So after seating ourselves we were greeted promptly by a very friendly server (Kimmy). The food came out in a timely manner and was yummy, omelet and eggs benedict. Portions were good size. We didn't feel rushed and Kimmy came back several times to check if we needed anything else. Overall, this is a very nice breakfast restaurant. Decent prices, good food and great service. I will be returning for another meal.

Server took 20 minutes to offer us a coffee refill. Also she was brash and very rude. Her name on the receipt was Shantorriea.
The waitress (not ours) stood behind us for over 10 minutes telling stories to the lady seated behind us and was so loud laughing and cutting up that we couldn’t hear each other talk. Prices are high for bad food. Will never go back!

Honestly not sure what I was expecting but it was not this. The server never checked on us while we were there, multiple of us had empty drink more than half the time. We sat after we finished our food for 15 minutes and had to ask a girl for the check. The food itself was mediocre at best. It seems like they’re understaffed but multiple of the girls working were standing around or walking around aimlessly. Will not be visiting again.
