So let me explain. Doors say open at 6. I’m there at 640. Saturday morning. No waitress. Cooking staff says she is probably home sleeping from getting drunk on Friday night. The cooking staff can’t make food or take orders bc they don’t have access to the registers. They had to call someone to wake her up. I wasn’t waiting another 30 minutes for her to take a shower, drive in, clock in and then take my order.

I came in to order and eat waited and the waitress never acknowledged I was there and only one other customer in the restaurant. This is the first time I have ever had this kind of treatment but all it takes is one bad experience and Now I will not be back.

No problem we went to the ATM and came back. Then we sat in this rude blonde girls section. She never introduced herself, the waitress station was right behind us but we were never offered refills, and she got my husband's order wrong and wanted to start an argument about it. My food was OK at best but my husband ordered hashbrowns and got grits soup dumped on his omelet and not in a bowl like other people we saw in there. They also forgot the cheese on his omelet. So we finished our food and get up to pay were they used a calculator to figure out or check and still got the change wrong. Normally I would give a place a second chance but not this place. What a horrible first impression.

Went for breakfast and orders an omelette. Cut into the omelette and didn't see any cheese. Asked the waitress. She walked off with the omelette then came back and said, we use white cheese it's in there but hard to see. My husband moved the inside of the omelette sound and found 1 piece of cheese. I know things are thought but really skimping on cheese in an omelette We will not be back.

W love going to the restaurant when we visit Jekyll Island. This time however(Sunday 2/19) we got sick after eating here. My boyfriend and I shared a burger and hours later started feeling terrible. Could’ve been some cross contamination, so hopefully they’ll keep their eye on

Wear nonslip shoes!! The floor was so greasy in the dining area we just slid in to be seated. I told them they needed to use degreaser on the floor. The food is very unappealing!! The eggs are powdered eggs and are cooked so thin for an omelette the sausage etc wouldn't even stay in the omelette. Grits were hard & clumpy & the scrambled eggs looked like paper thin tortilla chips!! The waitress was okay but gave my husband another customers credit card & asked him to sign the receipt & walked away. My husband found the guest that the card belonged to & returned it. Overall Sunny Side Up is a sunny side down.

Ordered breakfast burrito with no peppers. It came out with green peppers. My husband ordered dry toast, and it came 10 minutes after his eggs ? The waitress was very apologetic it wasn't her fault.

Tons of menu items, good food and great service. The prices are a bit high for the quality of the food, but the service is great and there are a ton of breakfast options- even the strange, like catfish and eggs. We tried the sweet potato fries with powdered sugar and it was delicious. I highly recommend going out of your comfort zone.
