I happened upon this spot in my travels thru South Georgia. It was the first place in my search, and it was close by. The staff was really friendly, the food was good and the dine in was pleasant! It was ironic that I had a conversation about Buena Vista, Ga. just the day before. If I'm ever in that neck of the woods again, I'll surely make it a point to visit again!
What a gem! We drove past it because there was a yard sale sign in the window and sone T’s for the restaurant- so we were thrown off, but so glad we went in. Food was so good! My friend had the fried chicken and said it was wonderful! I had fried cabbage (yum) and liver and onions (not everyone’s favorite but I was craving it) and “REAL” mashed potatoes! And then we had to try the strawberry cake and we loved it also! The two young women taking orders were so...
Holy cow, it was not what I expected. They far exceeded any expectations. The food was incredible. The building wasn't marked, barely recognized. But it is the absolute best that I have had in years. Don't judge a book by its cover. This is my new "go to" place when I pass thru. The only problem was the volume of the TV but with food like this, it doesn't really matter about the volume
