I remember when this place opened over a decade ago - the fried chicken (and all the food for that matter) was the best in Georgia back then. We recently passed through and stopped for lunch - still the best!!! Get a slice of cake (or two) to go so you can savor the flavor later! 100% recommend as one of the best restaurants in Georgia!
Me n my wife came to this little town as a little getaway coming from Ohio and were hungry for some lunch and this place already had a lot of great reviews so we gave it a try since I’m a sucker for fried catfish.. and I definitely have to say this is hands down the best catfish I have ever had. The breading wasn’t too much and they seasoned it to perfection I usually use hot sauce for my catfish but this was so good I ate it by itself.. the pinto beans were absolutely delicious...
friendly staff, home cooked tasty meals. minimal indoor seating but does have shaded outdoor seating. Daily lunch specials. it was very busy weekend morning, n at lunch time when we've been. will return!
