We had lunch Saturday at this restaurant and thought it was amazing. Food was delicious. Until Saturday all 3 adults that went to the restaurant started throwing up and having other symptoms of food poisoning. Fortunately my son didn't have any of the hot pot items (he only had some dumplings and spring rolls). My husband was working and didn't go with us so he dodged a bullet as well. We are still trying to recover from this but this dining experience completely ruined our holiday weekend.

Food was good. But, the efficiency of the service was/is extremely absurd. The wait was so long. Our server forgot about us a party of 2 and even forgot about our order. That was crazy! We have waited long for our food in other places but it was reasonably long for a perfectly good reason but here at Lunar 12 was unreasonably long. Wow! It’s our server is what it was. She was really young and way too relaxed. We had to keep looking for her or keep getting her attention. I wash we had gotten her name. I hope if there is a next time we go there, we don’t have her as our server. I mean, she’s really sweet and nice but Daang! That’s was just nuts! The 3 starts is for the food.
LOVE THIS PLACE! Customer service is out of this world. All you can eat everything. Food is always delicious. I get the golden soup base with the homemade noodles. Bang bang shrimp is really good. All the meat is amazing as well.

The food is really delicious with many broth and food options. However the service is subpar at best. My friends and I frequent this location a lot and have noticed that after ordering food, especially the first go around. It is extremely hard to get a hold of any of the staff members to place another order. This has been a constant just about every single time, we have dined at this restaurant however we always ignore it because of how good everything else has been. Up until the most recent event being New Year’s Day, which I’ll give them grace in the sense that it was busier than normal. When we entered the restaurant, they told us that they had no seating for about 10 to 15 minutes, after watching a family of five finish and leave, I proceeded to give them time to clean to which I re-entered to check on the wait time and it had jumped from the original 10-15 to a wait of 40 minutes. After walking in one more time we were shoo’d away by the owner at the door to which we finally asked if we could give a phone number to receive a call back when there was a table available to avoid the constant coming and going. He responded with “OK fine whatever” And proceeded to take our number down on a sticky note that had other numbers on it. Needless to say, we never received a call about any tables being available. As much as we love this place, this interaction probably sealed the deal for us and we will never be back, there are certain ways to handle customers, especially in the food industry, and this was not the right way to do it.
