The "all you can eat" menu here is NOT worth it. Id say just drive 15 - 20 minutes down i-85 and eat at iron age because you get MUCH more quality for the same price. The servers and staff were all very nice. He did tell me that getting a combo meal is better and higher quality meats, but its not something they specify before ordering so i didnt even get a chance to try it. Again, the service is very polite and friendly despite the low quality food.

We had never had it before so it was a new experience for us, I will say the chicken is good- thighs not breast meat, the super thin beef was good. We didn't care for any of the sides and tried them all. The wait staff was super friendly.

Wow what a treat, decided to bring my fiance here as a little date and just wow. Was greeted and treated well upon arrival. As I sat down at the table it was different from other Korean BBQ establishments, right off the rip seeing a vacuum that pulls the smoke from the grill, now that's cool. (Does cause a slight line of sight issue to the individual across from you, not a big deal at all). Our man of the hour, Brian, arrives with a professional, well mannered, and just overall excellent attitude addressing me and my fiance kindly. Brian kept the sauces we requested filled, our drinks filled, and our belly's by insuring we had something cooking while we were eating so we would constantly be good. My hat is off to Brian. If I am ever back down this way and stop by here that's who I'd ask for.
The food was fairly decent my fiance seemed to enjoy it more than I but it was still a 8/10 on my part.
Atmosphere was different on the interior than I expected but not displeasing. Bathrooms were clean, inside was clean, seats in good condition.

We’ve been loyal customers of 985 Korean BBQ since it opened, but our recent visit for Saturday lunch was extremely disappointing. We decided to try the new all-you-can-eat option for the first time, priced at $29.90 for adults and $19.90 for kids.
From the moment we sat down, it felt like we weren’t taken seriously. Every portion of meat we ordered had to be grilled and cut entirely by ourselves without any assistance. Meanwhile, the server seemed focused solely on helping a nearby white family. Is it assumed that just because we’re Asian, we should serve ourselves?
What made this worse was the mandatory 20% service charge — regardless of whether any service was actually provided. The quality of the all-you-can-eat meat was also subpar.
We won’t be returning and can’t recommend this place to anyone.

The service was not good, the waiter seemed very busy, but there were not many tables. No one refilled the water. We were forced to pay a 20% tip for two people eating in. The BBQ was burnt and they put new meat on the grill.

Food is great here. Service is subpar. For a Korean BBQ restaurant having to grill yourself ruined the experience for me. Having to watch the grill so you don’t burn a meat and trying to eat at once is too cumbersome. Hopefully management changes this, however there are way too many KBBQ spots that grill the meats for me to come back here.

Second time visiting this place and it was great. Food was on point, our server was attentive yet not bothersome. Highly recommend.
Do yourselves a favor and get the Kimchi Fried Rice. 10/10!

We have gone twice, the food is definitely not the issue. It's the price, $100 , and they also automatically add a 15% gratuity to your bill .
You grill yourself....
We won't be back soon, the food was pretty good but nothing stellar for that money. You can easily goto a barebones or Brazilian steakhouse and get way better food.

My wife and I went there for the second time, and we noticed many changes since our last visit a year ago. We ordered the all-you-can-eat option. At the top of the menu, it states: "Do not order more than you can eat," a 20% tip is mandatory, and there’s a 90-minute time limit. Unfortunately, the quality and portion sizes of the food were not as good as they used to be. You might be better off going to a Chinese buffet, which typically offers a wider variety of food, fewer restrictions, and possibly the same price or less. Plus, you can enjoy seafood there as well.
