I first tried Blimpie over a year ago when they still had a store in Gainesville. I ordered The Blimp sandwich and I was surprised at the size of it. As for how it tasted, it was very good. Compared to other sub sandwich restaurants, I found Blimpie to have more of everything in their sandwiches. When the Blimpie in Gainesvlle closed, through Google Maps, I found the next closest one to be on Friendship Rd. I went there for an early dinner and while a smaller location, the atmosphere...
Sam went above and beyond to help me place a special catering type order long distance! It was special circumstances and he really came through! He took care of all the details, even the small ones! Thank you! Highly recommend this Blimpie!
I hadn't been to Blimpie in a few years but when I discovered this location nearby I tried it and remembered why I liked it better than the other sandwich shops and supermarket deli subs. The wheat bread and ingredients are delicious and the bread is not too thick. Already gone back 3 times.
