New to GA and was so happy with the quality of food. Curry shrimp was made to order. Not a long wait. And the rice and peas was delicious.

Oh my goodness I came here for lunch and I was expecting a lunch portion. Let me tell you the food was amazing and I’m just surprised that this Jamaican restaurant is here in the middle of Buford. This is the type of place you would find on the east side of Atlanta. I had the curry chicken and the rice and peas and my only complaint was the portion size you can literally eat half of this for lunch and the other half for dinner right now I’m sitting here wondering how I’m gonna make it through the rest of the day ???without passing out…. five star and they have a customer for dinner for sure. Chicken was tender and full of flavor. No brainer for real food. Best restaurant in the buford area. Period. Its a casual scenery so better suited for carryout though. I had a bottle of coconut water to wash it down, and the only difference between this and real coconut water is the fact that this was in a bottle and it was colder. Definitely not the stuff that you used to buy in the stores that they call coconut water.

Normally when I come here, I get my beef patty and coco bread and go on my way. This time I decided to try the jerk chicken and it was soooo good! If you want the spicy jerk, then this ain't it. This jerk is more sweet and I like it. My chicken was juicy and flavorful. My plaintain were delicious. They gave me a lot of peas & rice, more than I needed. The veggies were good and I could've used more of that. I'll be back to try the other dishes.

Don’t understand the bad reviews. These are the sweetest, most honest people in the world and their food SLAPS. Try the patties. All of them. Especially the jerk chicken!

J Foods here have potential but many things seem off compared to 100s of other J restaurants. Food esp J chicken are way too SWEET, Rice n Veggies are too mushy with Strong Ginger. Good heat level but prefer up the spice down the sweet. Sorry not my preference but will try again

They always seem so angry that they have to open the door they're not friendly at all. The big black guy that works at the front is always on the phone. He's always doesn't want to answer your questions and when I tell you they gave me a spoon of Rice for lunch, don't waste your money, there's so many other places you could find in Gwinnett that will appreciate you coming in the door.

Don’t call and ask questions, you’ll get attitude & hung up on. This happened twice within 3 minutes.

The worst food that I have ever tasted and very un-authentic! Instead of using real jerk seasoning they drown the wings in sauce. On top of the terrible taste, the food is extremely overpriced. DO NOT VISIT THIS PLACE

By far the absolute WORST jamaican food i've ever had. The chicken did not have an authentic jerk flavor to it, rather, they tried to pour some type of sauce on it to make it tase like jerk. The rice and peas was old and stuck together. Also, the guy charged me for a large order rather than asking me first if that was what I wanted. I didn't even eat a third of the food before I put it in the garbage. Food was total trash!

Dropped in here for some good Jamaican food. My wife got the jerk chicken and I got the goat curry. The Flavor's were good but my dish seemed more like curry ox tail because there were more bones than meet. My wife's dish had a lot of bones as well. The prices are high for rice and bones.

Had breakfast ackee and salt fish. The food was slamming..... the staff was so...professional and friendly. The restaurant was clean and relaxing. This is a top restaurant and would recommend to everyone. The real Jamaican food. Love it!!!
