Drive thru around 8 pm so we are understanding of that but it was very, very slow service from ordering to window pick up but my husband loved the food. Raved even which is why it’s a 3 star.

Disappointment with the service provided by the morning crew at Captain d's in Buford. The issues I encountered were not trivial but fundamental failures in service, including egregious delays, incorrect orders. This is why I love to come at night because the quality of both the food and the service during the night shift is commendable. Opal and Amari, along with their colleagues on the night shift, have created an inviting and friendly atmosphere that truly stands out. Their attention to detail, prompt service, and genuine kindness not only enhance the quality of the food and the overall ambiance but also make every visit memorable. It is this level of service that has made me a loyal and frequent visitor to Captain D's

11/20/23 update: A quiet Monday evening. We were only customers at first. Tried the $5.99 fish special and was served extremely quickly. Sat down and didn't find tartar sauce in box, so had to return to counter.Fish was hot and crispy. Fries and hushpuppies crisp as well. Was a quick, satisfying dinner.***********Good, reasonably priced seafood dinner.

During a recent visit to Captain's, I requested a clam strips meal with extra fries X2. However, upon receiving my order, I found it to be unsatisfactory. While waiting, I observed the cashier providing the couple behind me with an offer of 5 shrimp for $1.99. Subsequently, I noticed a sign indicating that, if a customer is not offered the special, they will receive shrimp free of charge. Upon bringing this to the attention of the cashier, I was informed that the promotion was no longer valid. I suggested that the sign be displayed and that customers not be asked whether they wished to avail the special offer.
