Used the online menu and ordered 2 dinner combination and were supposed to have rice and egg rolls. No egg rolls were found. When I called back to see why I was told I ordered the entree and not the dinner combination. So basically my order was screwed up and they blame me. When I checked my receipt sure enough I had paid for the combination dinners. Will not go back and recommend the same to anyone reading this.

I hate leaving bad reviews. But I feel like I have to after last night. I saw the high rating on Google, and on DoorDash where I ordered from so I was excited to try this place out! However, the food was just awful. The Mongolian beef was undercooked (almost rare) the rice was stale, the crispy wontons for the soup were soft, stale, and tasted of old oil. And the wontons in the soup were way overcooked. Mushy and flavorless. Based on the number of high reviews, it very well could have just been an off night. But I don’t know. It was very disappointing.

Me and my daughter got the mongnolia chicken with extra sauce she don't like the onions so I had them put extra rice noodles on hers. We love it! She gets the chicken lo mein also some times that is delicious as well all of their food is delicious.

I have been in the neighborhood a little over 2 years and finally decided to try Chen’s. Dinner for two was absolutely delicious. Very generous amount of food. Very fresh. This is my 2nd. trip, a week apart. Both times, very happy and satisfied. Say Hi to Annie ?

Nice place, great food. Typically order their lunch special and portion size is great for what you’re paying.

Best quality food anywhere! So delicious! Also, Chens is generous with the amount of food he serves, I always take some home for later!

We have been ordering from Chen’s for quite a while now, and we have never had a bad experience or been disappointed. We have never dined in, so I can’t speak on that, but their delivery is super quick & convenient. We love anything with their broccoli, the lo mein and egg rolls are delicious, and the hot & sour soup is my favorite. This is our go-to place for Chinese food in the Buford/Hamilton Mill area!

We have tried Chen's a couple of times now with mixed results. They are fast for delivery, but the quality is well below expectation. I ordered Mongolian beef, my daughter got chicken fried rice and my wife got a tofu dish. The Mongolian beef was awful. It had an off-putting smoked flavor that I can only compare to the smell of a candle when it is blown out. Almost an hour later and the taste is still in my mouth. The sauce was so watery that it was useless to flavor the food. My daughter's fried rice was another miss. The chicken was spongy and she wouldn't eat it. I tried it and I honestly can't believe it was chicken becuase the texture was like a hard boiled egg. The rice itself was almost unseasoned and resembled the fried rice you often get with an entree instead of a main dish. My wife's tofu was another miss. In her words, she is glad she tried it, but she wouldn't order it again. In other words, it was meh.

We have been here in the past and it was fine. My daughter used to love their lo mein. But today we went and it was just not good. We ordered the Mongolian beef and sweet and sour chicken. The egg drop soup was good, egg rolls were just ok, but the entrees were inedible. I couldn’t even find the taste or appearance of chicken in the sweet and sour chicken. It was mostly hollow inside the fried batter. It was money down the drain unfortunately. I don’t think I would chance it again.

I'm not sure why the reviews here are so generous, I've been in Dacula/Hamilton Mill for a little over a year now, have tried several Chinese restaurants in the area and this was easily one of the least impressive. The wonton soup was nearly tasteless, had to be mostly water. My egg rolls were soggy and chewy due to being undercooked. The shrimp in the spring roll I tried was absolute bottom of the barrel quality. I also tried the sesame chicken dinner combo, the chicken was tiny and gummy, portiom size was small (not too big of a deal since I only ate half of it due to its mediocrity) and there was almost no sauce at all. Fried rice was as basic as I've ever had. The house mei fun was the best dish despite still being just above average. Won't go back here with all the better options available nearby.
