Last two times I’ve been there’s been hair in my food. This evening when I got my food with a long hair the manager didn’t come by my table waitress just took the food and left. Nothing was said to me. I waited there until a new plate arrived. I never was asked if I wanted a new plate. Waitress was chit chatting with other tables while I was just sitting there plateless. Didn’t offer to bring the manager or tell me she was going to give me a new plate which I didn’t want anymore. Eventually I asked for the manager. Manager had terrible customer service skills. All he offered me was my meal free after I told them to take it back. Yes, it should be free if I didn’t want it. He told me he didn’t come by because the waitress said she was bringing me a new plate which was never said to me. When I asked if people wear hear nets in the back to the manager he was fumbling his words. Will never go back and would never recommend this location. Hair, hair, hair.
Arrived 315pm on Sunday, March 30...no one was waiting to be seated inside or out, and the receptionist said wait would be 30 minutes due to kitchen back up...the dining room was not full and steady flow of people leaving...we did not wait, this is a perfect way to lose customers..

I’m at the stage in life where i don’t like to complain but when the service or food is mediocre I feel I must warn my fellow diners because eating out is expensive and when the experience is poor prospective diners deserve to know. I ordered the chicken tenders, mashed potatoes, carrots and turnips. The potatoes and turnips were acceptable but my server brought corn instead of carrots which was not problem enough to complain. The corn was another thing and was clearly old and tough and dried out. The chicken tenders comprised more chicken than one should normally eat so portion sizes were too large. The chicken was rubbery and chewy, the corn was inedible and the biscuits were hard and stale. My wife didn’t even eat the hushpuppies that came with her catfish as they were overcooked and hard. Just like another review I read meaning they haven’t learned anything. Catfish was tough and chewy. Tea was good. All in all we were disappointed and the $45 bill didn’t help. This is the second time in a row at CB we have experienced this although not at this location. We gave this location a try and were disappointed. The poor server was running like crazy so the front of the house had it together but the product coming out of the kitchen assured that we are dine for good with CB. When we can cook this food better at home I guess we will be eating at home. We have a hard time finding any place that serves quality food and we are not hard to please.

Food was great. But I waited for over 20 minutes for someone to come and take my order for a lunch order. I had to ask 4 different staff members just standing around to take my order. The lady T the register acted as she couldn’t be bothered.

I think the only reason this store stays in business is because idiots like me still go once in awhile!! The service is horrible - in the dining room and take out. Do not do take out because you will get home with food you payed for......missing.

Staff was great. The cashier at checkout had trouble using my reward peg discount -she could see them on her screen but couldn’t apply them. She ended up discounting my purchase instead. Great customer service

Don’t waist your time going to this restaurant! Waited over an hour just to be told they didn’t know why it was taking so long for our food to come out. Manager could not give an explanation as to why the cook had not completed our order. After we told the manager we were leaving he apologized and gave us the food to go for free.

Moved to another table. No waitress. Ask 2 waitresses if it was their station. No. Waited a bit & flagged down the 1st one. She said our waitress was ending her shift. Nobody else came. She checked back & took our order. It never came. She came back, bringing bread & said our order was up next. It never came. Almost 2 hrs had passed so we left.
I have always loved CB however, this is the second time we go to the Buford location and it’s the worst!!! The first negative experience was when we were seated, ordered and were waiting 40 minutes before we asked our server for a status and were told we had to wait another 30 minutes because there was limited staff on kitchen. We left. Management should inform customers that it will take over one hour to get your food served.
Tonight we decided to give it another try. After 30 minutes, the cheese bites were served burnt. The corn was not edible, the mashed potatoes were ice cold so I asked for a manager. The manager came over and offered to take it off of our ticket. When the check came it had nothing removed so we left all our food uneaten paid the tab and left.
You have to do better, Cracker Barrel!

Our server was very new (3 mos.) and not well trained. Brought us biscuits and cornbread, because there was a delay in bringing us our meal, but no napkins or saucers! Also, my grandson's eggs were overcooked and rubbery. The server did get the kitchen to redo them, but we got them at the end of the meal. Additionally the window, by which we were seated , was very dirty and there were fruit flies all over it!

Wow not one to complain much, but Cracker Barrel here in Buford has really gotten bad with it’s service. Not sure if short handed in the kitchen but the past several times I’ve ate here it takes an extremely long time to get the food out to the tables. Sad when you have guests all around you and we’re all saying the same thing. Really should be a manager in the dinning room talking to guests and explaining. I see lots of Togo orders going out but nothing for the dine in guests. Pause the Togo order and take care of the dine in guests. Haven’t even brought out bread yet. I’ve been here now for about 40 minutes as I’m typing just waiting on 1 order.

We waited almost 2 hours for our table for moms birthday today, 3/9/25. We were told to wait 45 min- 1hr. We found out it was an employee error for not communicating between shifts. We asked for some kind of discount, and only received a comp kids meal from each ticket (2 kids meals and 1 regular meal!) The manager or supervisor ramone did not seem to care of our inconvenience. Although manager Tina was wonderful, as well as our ever so patient and attentive waitress Elysea. We got to CB at 2pm, ended up seating at 4pm, and eating at 5pm. We had many hungry, whining children with us. And feel like the customer service could have done better on managements side. Ramone needs a new job!
