Wow! Food portions are huge! You will take a box or two out with you and you’ll be glad! This food is great! Salads are amazing. Entrees are equally satisfying. Never had an experience that was not first rate.
Good Italian hard to find in our town so we travelled a bit to this location. The true test of a great Italian restaurant is their carbonara and vodka sauces. Their carbonara unfortunately and untraditionally is made with Alfredo and for some reason, basil and tomato are added. Menu choices, even for the seafood options, are heavily creamed or butter sauced and laden with cheese. If this is your preference, you’ll love it here. And vodka sauce? Woefully absent. If you’re seeking traditional Italian, you’ll need to keep driving.
Serving sizes are large as they should be for the price and are available in half or regular size. The regular size may be for family style (shared dishes) dining which is very attractive. Side pastas should come already mixed with the marinara with extra sauce on top.
A peek into the back room and you’ll find it needs some attention in terms of ambiance that the front room seems to have more of. Music was fine and not too loud. Who doesn’t love Sinatra and the crooners? Love that there are no TVs to distract and disturb.
The service was its saving grace—attentive, friendly, knowledgeable—from the wait staff to the clean up staff (who came frequently to remove used dishes). Kudos to the hiring team!

For our family it is very hard to get everyone together and when we do we look forward to it so much because we live in all different areas of Georgia.(Milton,Dacula and Dawsonville) My husband normally works 7 days a week in the restaurant business as well but as luck had it he was able to take off. Deciding where to go, we chose Dominick's of all the thousands of options we had. I called and asked if we could come in at 8:00 with a party of 9. She didn't sound too enthused and put me on hold. ( It was a Saturday night, I should have checked hours I thought they closed at 10:00). Anyway, she said yes but our kitchen closes at 8:45. I told her thank you and in the back of my mind regretting my choice. We had 2 birthdays to celebrate and we just wanted to get together for a nice meal. We ordered,which took a good while for the food. Never once did our server ask us nor did we see her for refills on drinks. She did not ask how the food came out and in the end we had to finally ask for boxes. The food....oh my gosh where to start DEFINITELY NOT like it use to be they are not using the quality products they use to use. Not one of us finished our meals. She added he 20% gratuity and as we walk out the door the owner with a beer in his hand,turned to my husband and said we closed at nine. He was not happy but we with economy this way we will never and mean never step back in the place again. We work too hard and many other places to go.

The food was sub par. We ordered pasta that was supposed to have chicken in it, but it didn't. Our waiter took it back to the kitchen and they remade the dish, but the chicken had no flavor and resembled boiled chicken. With that being said, the service was impeccable and our server was great. It was a shame the food wasn't great. Except for the calamari. Fantastic calamari!

I went last night, and it was my first time at this restaurant. I ordered the chicken Alfredo, and also indulged in their crab cakes. The crab cakes were good, however they weren’t “jumbo” as stated on the menu. My pasta was dry with little sauce, and the chicken had no flavor at all. The bread brought to the table was also not as tasty as expected. Services was great, but it was the food that was lacking for my taste.

The food was horrible but it was a birthday celebration so we didn’t want to say anything. The chicken was old and unhealthy we took the cook out our dish and left it on the table. I was shocked at the level of the food served at this establishment. The cake they brought out for the birthday boy was horrible and after he and his mom had a very small amount the rest of us were very sold we didn’t want to try it.

I was with a huge work group, so they definitely get 5 stars for not only dealing with us, but staying open late to serve us! The staff were amazing and attentive. I had the chicken carbonara which was, by all accounts, okay. I wasn't blown away by it, but it was tasty nonetheless. Most of my colleagues had similar experiences with their meals. That said, A+++ to all staff we encountered that evening and thanks again for the accommodation!
