Their food portion sizes are family style. You can get either a half size that feeds about 1-2 people or a full size that feeds about 3-4 people. The price of the portions are actually pretty good for the amount of food provided. Went for a girls dinner and each of us got a half size of our entree which we all ended up taking home.

What a great find, the food and atmosphere were fantastic, I thought. The only problem is that I think I ate some old sausage and was sick all night. I should have known when I saw that the sausage was black inside, i thought it was made with more than pork. I gave them the benefit of the doubt but I was wrong. We will try this place again.

I have been to this establishment as well as the other locations in this chain. The food is bland. It's fine to consider yourselves a more upscale restaurant and charge more, but the food has to up to the standards that you are trying to create.

Overall the place was a miss for us. We got seated to a table that had what looked like it had a previous wine spill on it which had a whole bunch of ants running around the table. The food was ok but it was very cold and felt like it was a bit tasteless. Definitely wouldn’t come back for the food. However the atmosphere was very relaxing and calming. It was not loud and there was not clatter of plates.

We went the night before New Year’s Eve. Not crowded at all, had reservations and we promptly seated. I believe the service was slow because of only 2 servers and the manager was bussing the tables. Very good food as usual but they were short handed and did the best they could. Been there a lot over the years and never

The food was great, yet the experience was underwhelming. We had a 7:30pm reservation. I walked in at 6:45 hopeful, but not assuming a table would be ready and said, "I know we are early, but we are here whenever we can get seated".The owner/manager said, "let me check if we have your table ready" he walked away and came back looking at me as if I had two heads and said, "It's not even 7 and you are here". I was so put off by his demeanor. A simple, "it's a little early - give us a bit" would be respected and understood. He reluctantly said our table ready. It’s hard to put in words how rude this interaction was. I went outside to tell my family who was waiting patiently in the car.We walked in and had a table for 6 with a 5 month old baby. When he saw the baby he said to the mother of the child, "next time you make a reservation for 6 you need to say it is 7. You didn't include the baby in your information".You know... maybe we should have... but there's a way to talk to customers and this is not it.The owner ran around the restaurant all night intimidating his employees who seemed incredibly stressed, yelling at someone on the phone (on speaker) and drinking beer which he left sitting on the host stand.**For some reason I can't respond to the comment below, but I don't have the wrong location. This was at Dominick's in Buford, GA.

It was mediocre. We didn't like the bread at all. Too dry and crumbly. The wine tasted rather sour. Definitely won't be back. Give me Provino's any day.

Title: Disappointing Experience at Dominic’s Italian Restaurant in BufordI recently had the unfortunate experience of organizing a dinner party at Dominic’s Italian restaurant in Buford, and I must say that I am extremely disappointed with the outcome. We had made reservations for a small dinner party of 13 well in advance, a couple of months prior to our event on December 16. Upon making the reservations, the owner of the restaurant even sat down at our table, took our information, and assured us that our reservation was secured. He added our details to the restaurant's calendar, or so we thought.A week before our scheduled event, we realized that we had not received a confirmation call for our dinner reservations, which raised some concerns. When we called the restaurant two hours prior to the event, we were shocked to hear that there were no reservations in our name. The owner informed us that he had no knowledge of our reservation and had closed the restaurant for two private parties that evening.Despite our insistence that the owner had personally taken our information and assured us of our reservation, he denied having our details in his reservation book and claimed ignorance of the entire situation. This left us in a difficult position with only two hours left before our event, forcing us to scramble to find an alternative restaurant for our dinner party. This experience was not only deeply disappointing but also highly unprofessional. The lack of accountability and the owner's refusal to acknowledge the error made the situation even more frustrating. As a result, I cannot recommend Dominic’s Italian restaurant in Buford to anyone looking to host a special event or make reservations for a large group. The failure to honor our reservations and the subsequent inconvenience caused by the restaurant's negligence left a lasting negative impression. In conclusion, the handling of our reservation by the owner of Dominic’s Italian restaurant was extremely disappointing, and it is regrettable that such a promising event was marred by this avoidable issue. I hope that the restaurant takes steps to improve its reservation management and customer service to prevent similar experiences for future patrons.I hope this review helps shed light on the challenges we faced and encourages the restaurant to address its shortcomings.

We have eaten here several times. We normally go shortly after they open at 5. Dining room is mostly empty but they manage to make us feel badly about not making a reservation. We have had good service in the past but even at the busiest times, the manager (owner?) walks around and asks what we assume are the regulars if they ate doing okay. We have never been asked. Final straw was I tried to make reservations last Friday night, called twice. The recording said do not leave reservation request on here, make sure you talk to a person for that. So after two tries and no person answered we showed up. One table had ppl but it did look set up for some big parties. The manager asked if we had reservations, I said we tried twice to make them. He just shook his head. Sigh*
