Terrible service. Tried calling twice. No answer both times. Got seated, waited over 10 mins without a single acknowledgement. I’ve worked in service industry before. You should at least say hi within 5 mins and that’s being generous! No waters, no word. I gave it another 2-3 to see if someone would come up, still nobody did. We walked out. A waste of time

This was my first visit to this location and I was very impressed. The moment we walked in the door, the hostess was friendly and treated us like we had been friends forever. I wasn't sure what to expect for a wait time on a Saturday morning around 9am but were seated immediately. Our server was also super friendly and attentive. She made sure everything was exactly correct and fixed one small issue from the kitchen immediately.
The hangover hash was really good, if a bit heavy on the cumin, and the stuffed French toast was delicious. The grits were okay but nothing to wow you. We ended up spending about $40 for two meals and a drink. I couldn't even finish my portion so I was satisfied with the amount of food we received for the price.
Parking could possibly get tricky later in the day but it was fine when we went.

This is our 4th Flying Biscuit Resturant in the metro area and the Buford location met the standard- good food, good service, clean, and welcoming. We had the Piedmont Omelet with turkey sausage and turkey bacon and the High Flyer with a pancake, grits, bacon, and eggs. Both meals were excellently prepared and took less than 15 minutes to come. The service was impeccable and pretty impressive. Our waitress Azaine had no paper nor pen but she remembered our orders and 3 other tables while we waited. I know service people grow over time and get a routine/script but her memory is next level. Just as importantly, the restaurant and restrooms were clean and inviting. With that, I highly recommend Flying Biscuit, Buford. It is our 2nd favorite breakfast spot behind J Christopher (Flowery Branch), but ahead of First Watch (20), Snooze (Exchange), Oy! (Bogan), and Cracker Barrel (985). Like most spots in the area, after 12 pm is the best time.

Very disappointed in the service when I went in this morning to purchase a simple biscuit and coffee to go with a gift card I had won, no less, from The Flying Biscuit in a raffle at the Hot Chocolate Expo in Atlanta. I love the Flying Biscuit and have done the Big Peach Sizzler 10K sponsored by The Flying Biscuit for the past 4 years! When I arrived at the Buford location, the hostess greeted me and directed me to the bar to place my order. At least four (4) employees, including the bar tender made eye contact with me but no one even as much said hello, good morning or even offered to take my order. I waited what seemed like 10 minutes and I just stood there......nothing. There was only one other table with customers in the whole restaurant, so I don't believe it was because they were busy. I left without my biscuit & coffee and I won't be back to this Flying Biscuit location. 😔

The food was okay. It wasn't bad, but I have had better at other locations. The serving size was small for the price, too.

Paid $16.99 for “Georgia Peaches and Cream Waffles” that had no peaches or cream unless they were camouflage in which case I apologize. The flavor of the hangover hash was decent, but the chicken was so overcooked, dry, and inedible. I wanted to support my local business, but I’ll never be coming back to Flying Biscuit. Save your money and go to the Waffle House across the street.

Biscuits were hard. The chicken was overcooked also the hash browns were cold. I don’t understand why it was so bad on a Saturday morning? I could have stayed home and cooked my own meal. The whole experience was not good. Had to get up to ask for syrup and hot sauce. Go to McDonalds for breakfast at least you know what you’re getting.
